A Day at the Park!

Well, I don't know about other people, but those of us in Birmingham are having wonderful weather!  I mean seriously, it is the end of December and sunshiny, blue skies with highs in the 60s!  Loving It!!  We decided to take full advantage of the gorgeous weather and we went to the park the past couple of days.  There is a great park about 10 minutes away from us in Alabaster called Veterans Park.  There is tons of land, over a mile walking trail, playgrounds, and an off leash dog area.  Yesterday we went for a while and took a picnic and just ate, hung out, and played.  It was wonderful!!  It was Bryant's first picnic, and he seemed to really enjoy it.  This time we actually just took firehouse subs out to the park to eat because I need to go to the store, but next time I plan to pack our lunch!  I hope the weather stays this great all winter!! :)  But don't worry, I'm fully aware it probably won't...  Below are some pictures from our fun day!

I also have to share one more picture from today.  Below is what happens when you ask Josh to please get Bryant dressed for the day.  Umm...yeah....

Where's Bryant??

Until next time...

Merry Christmas!!

What a wonderful Christmas we had this year!  Above is Bryant on Christmas Day...he was 46 weeks!  We were so lucky to get to spend a lot of time with all of our family.  As I posted last week, we spent a week in Bainbridge this year.  We got to see lots of Josh's family.  Unfortunately we didn't get to see his sister and brother-in-law. :(  We stayed in Bainbridge until Christmas day after lunch.  Below are tons of pictures.  Bryant got LOTS of toys and other stuff.  Josh and I thought we were going to have to get a uhaul to get everything home!  Everyone was so generous!! And of course Santa came too!  All in all I think Bryant was a little overwhelmed, but he definitely still had fun!

After an extremely fun Christmas morning with Josh's family, we loaded up and headed to Opelika.  We got to Opelika late that afternoon and had another Christmas with my family.  It was fun.  Everyone was there except my sister Shelley and her family.  She is pregnant and wasn't allowed to travel. :(  Anyway, we had a lot of fun in Opelika.  We opened presents..and everyone was once again extremely generous!  We also went to the park one day and played our annual family jeopardy!  FUN!!  I of course got lots of pictures...and will share some below:
