7 Weeks Old!

Below is Bryant's 7 week picture!  Is he bigger....I don't know?!?! ;)

So Bryant likes to try to crawl.  It is the cutest thing because he can't get anywhere, but he tries with all his might.  Josh likes to get down on the floor with him and egg him on to crawl, and all that does is make Bryant get mad because he can't get to him.  It is too cute!  This little man will be crawling before I know it!  Below are some pictures.

Stay At Home Mom...and other stuff!

Well, it's official, my mommy is going to stay home with me!  YAY!!!  Me and mommy went to her work on Monday and she put in her resignation.  Although she told me she is going to miss her job because she really loved it, she also said there is no way she would rather do it than stay home with me.  So...that is that!  It was fun getting to go meet the people she worked with though.  I finally got to put faces with the voices that I heard all the time while I was in mommy's belly.  Especially Abbie, Adam, and Susan's voices...they worked on the trading floor with mommy so I heard them talking all the time.  Abbie held me for a while during my visit and talked to me...it was fun!

On Tuesday I went with mommy to her 6 week checkup.  She was very happy because the doctor told her that everything was great!  After her doctor's appt we went over to visit the lactation consultant.  Mommy had been worrying about me because I spit up all the time...I try to tell her that that is just what baby's do!  But anyway, the lactation consultant weighed me and I was 11 lbs 10 oz.  I guess mom can stop worrying. I mean I think 3 lbs in a little over 6 weeks is pretty dang good!  In fact, the lactation consultant said I was thriving! :)

On Wednesday me and mommy met up with her friend Julia and my friend Paul (who is 7 weeks older than me) at Heardmont Park.  We strolled around the park for a long time just relaxing and talking.  It was really fun to get out of the house and enjoy the beautiful weather!

On Thursday I did something I had never done before...I went to a restaurant.  Me and mommy and daddy had gone to help some of their friends move, and afterwards mom and dad were really hungry, so we went to this place called Black Jack Bar & Grill.  It was a local place in Leeds, AL.  Mom made sure it was nonsmoking before we went in because she wanted to make sure my lungs didn't have to breath in any second hand smoke!  What a thoughtful mommy! ;)  It was very exciting being at a restaurant...daddy took several pictures of me with his phone since mom didn't have her camera.  For some reason they really wanted to remember that moment...I guess it's a big deal to them!

On Friday I went with mommy over to one of the other coaches wives house to return a bowl.  I got to meet some of the other kids on the UAB staff.  It was fun to meet my future playmates!!

Well, this is definitely the longest post I have ever written, so I am going to have to go take a nap now!  I am going to post a few pictures of me from this week for yall to enjoy!

6 Weeks Old

Bryant was 6 weeks old yesterday.  Man time is flying!!  Below is his 6 week picture.  I went back and looked at his 3 week picture and I have to say that he is definitely getting bigger!

Spring Break!

Well, this past week was the best spring break I've ever had!  Of course it wasn't really any different for me, but Josh was home all week.  It was so great having him here.  He got to spend lots of time with Bryant, and I know he really enjoyed it.  I also really loved having the extra set of hands around, and the fact that I was able to run errands every day.  We played outside a lot, and just had fun family time.  On Thursday my sister and her three-year old son Tyler came to visit for a couple of days...and Jojo came with them too!  It was the first time they had met Bryant, so it was really fun.  Tyler really liked his cousin Bryant.  And although he couldn't voice it, Bryant really loved him too!

We went to the park both days they were here because it was sooo pretty.  Here are a couple of pictures from that.

As you can see, we really had an amazing and fun visit!  Hopefully Bryant and Tyler will get to hang out again soon!

5 Weeks Old

It's hard to believe another week has passed, but it has.  Bryant was 5 weeks old yesterday!  He is growing up sooo fast!!  I just love every minute I get to spend with him.  Anyway, I won't get all sappy on the blog post...at least not today! :)  Below is Bryant's 5 week picture with the teddy bear.  I'm thinking he is about the same size....

Also, Bryant forgot to mention on his post yesterday about going to his FIRST FOOTBALL GAME!!!  Josh plays on a flag football team and they had a double header yesterday.  Bryant and I went and he seemed to have a good time.  He really likes to be outside!  Here are a few pictures from the game.

Fun weekend!

Hey guys!  Sorry it's been a while since I posted!  This past week really got away from me.  The first part of the week was sooo long because it was cold and rainy, so me and mommy were stuck in the house all day everyday.  Therefore, there is not anything exciting to talk about with those days.  However, Friday was much better.  Daddy got home from work around lunchtime, so we all went for a fun walk that afternoon.  Then Friday night me and daddy and Sam had a guys night while mommy went to dinner with some girlfriends.

After dinner mommy's friends Ashley and Rebecca came back over to hang out with me.  We had lots of fun!

While Ashley and Rebecca were over they helped set up my new playmat.  I really like it.  I like to hit all the animals while they dangle in front of my face! :)

On Saturday mommy and daddy took me and Sam to Oak Mountain State Park.  We hiked the lake trail and it was so pretty.  I slept almost the entire time, but it was still really fun.  Mommy was very upset with herself because she forgot the camera so we couldn't take any pictures.  Oh well though, maybe next time.  We still had lots of fun!!

One Month Old!

Wow!  I can not believe it, but Bryant is a month old today!  It seems like just yesterday I was having him...yet I can't remember life before him.  I'm sure all of you mothers know what I am talking about.  Anyway, this past month has definitely been the best month of my life, and I'm sure it will just continue getting better!  Below is Bryant's 4 week picture with the teddy bear...I can't really tell if he looks any bigger than last week, but I bet he is! :)

Fun Aunt Time!

Hello all!  I am having such a FUN time!  My Aunt Grace (mommy's sister) came to visit me on Thursday all the way from New York City.  And she is staying til tomorrow.  And now, my Aunt Hillary (mommy's twin sister) came over from Marietta, GA today and is staying until tomorrow.  We are having such a great time.  We have played and talked and gone for walks.  Unfortunately we haven't been able to actually go anywhere since I am still too young to go out in public.  But that's okay.  We know how to have fun anyway!  Here are some pictures to prove it! :)

Future Linebacker

Hello all!  I am continuing to work on becoming a linebacker (although Mommy says football is too dangerous for her baby to be playing).  Mommy took me to the lactation consultant to have me weighed today.  She just wanted to make sure I was gaining weight good, since she never knows how much I am actually getting to eat.  Well, let's just say I am.  Today I weighed 10 lbs 2 oz.  That is a 14 oz weight gain in 8 days! (Aren't my math skills impressive!)  Mommy was a little concerned that I was gaining so much weight so fast, but the lactation consultant said it was fine and that she was very impressed.  Yes, I am quite impressive!  Anyway, that's really all the exciting news I have right now!  Thanks for checking up on me and I will post again soon!
