Poppi Visited!

Hey guys!  So guess who came to see me today...Poppi! (my daddy's dad)  It was the first time I had seen him since I was born.  He had been in Atlanta and was headed to Bainbridge and he decided to make a detour to come see me.  He said he was just too close not to come by, even though he only got to stay a couple of hours.  Man, I must be pretty special for him to go so far out of his way to see me! :)  Anyway, we had a good time.  I mainly just smiled and talked to him.  And then I got a little tired so I took a nap.  Below are a few pictures of us!

I've included a couple of other pictures below that mommy took of me this week.  Aren't I cute?? ;) ...atleast that's what everybody is always saying!

Until next time...

11 Weeks Old!

Bryant was 11 weeks old yesterday!  Below is his picture!

He is getting bigger and bigger! :)  When we were at church yesterday there was a couple sitting next to us with their 4 1/2 month old, and I swear Bryant was as big as he was!  On other news, I have to share what my big boy did last night.  He actually slept from 10:15 - 5:45...that's 7 1/2 hours!!  He has never slept anywhere close to that long before!  It was sooo awesome for mommy!  Maybe he'll start doing that more often! :)

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter Everyone!  I hope it is a great day of celebrating our Savior's resurrection!  It has been an awesome Easter here at the Lee residence.  This morning when we woke up, the Easter bunny had come!  He brought a basket for both Bryant and Josh!  However, the Easter bunny didn't bring me anything this year because he knew that I would just eat all of Bryant's candy! :)

Then we all actually went to church!  This was the first time we have been since Bryant was born.  Bryant went to the service with us and was very well behaved.  It was so great to be back at church, but it was even better that we got to go back on Easter!  I dressed Bryant in a special Easter outfit.  He looked super cute! (Thanks to Gran for the outfit!)

Back to the Easter baskets.  Bryant had lots of fun and yummy stuff in his.  He got a couple of VeggieTales videos, some Bible Story books, a couple of toys, and candy!  As you can see from the picture below he really liked his basket...he literally wouldn't let go of it! :)

Bryant also got a basket from his Aunt Meghan, Uncle Chris, and cousin Harry.  He really liked that basket too!  It was very sweet of them to send it to him!

Anyway, it has been a great 1st Easter with our family of 4!  Below shows what my three boys are doing as I type this post.  Oh what a life!! :)

Until next time...

Mover and Talker!

So Bryant has become such a talker!  He has always been a big kicker and mover, but now he adds talking to it!  It is so precious!!  Below is a video of him doing it.

Another thing Bryant really likes right now is mirrors.  He loves looking at himself.  Josh or I will hold him in front of the bathroom mirror and he will just look at himself and smile.  It is hilarious!  Anyway, the rest of this week has been a pretty regular week, so I don't have much updates.  However, I do have lots of new cute pictures, so I will include them below!

 Precious Face

 So tired!

I like my new Bumbo seat!!

 Whoa...are those my feet?

Holding his football even in his sleep!

This is Josh's favorite...I wonder why! Ha!

Easter Bunny!

Hey guys!  I wanted to share about my experience yesterday.  I met the Easter bunny!  I have to admit, it was kinda scary and exciting.  He was friendly, but didn't talk.  I guess I figured bunnies could talk..?  Also, he was really big...a lot bigger than I thought bunnies were.  However, all in all I was glad mommy took me to meet him.  She told me that the Easter bunny is a fun part of Easter, but that it is not the real reason for it.  She said the real reason for Easter is the celebration of Jesus's death and resurrection.  Therefore, she hopes I never mistake Easter for just being a time to get a basket full of goodies from a bunny.  She wants me to know that our Lord and Savior died on the cross for everyone's sins, and that he rose from the dead.  Now that really is something to celebrate about!!  I can't wait to learn more about this loving Jesus! :)  Anyway, below is the picture of me with the Easter Bunny.  As my Aunt Grace noticed, my shirt matches the Easter bunny's eyeshadow!  Also, I have to thank Aunt Hillary and Uncle Evan for the outfit...it is perfect for my First Easter!

Below are some more pictures of me that mommy took.  I was laughing at her because she was being silly!

Until next time...

10 Weeks Old!

Bryant was 10 weeks old yesterday.  We have reached the double digits in weeks already!  AAAHHHH...slow down time! :)

So this weekend was super busy.  As Bryant already posted, we had the UAB spring game on Saturday.  In addition to that, we had some good friends of ours get married, and Josh was in the wedding.  Therefore, I had a bachelorette party Friday night, we had a Rehearsal dinner Saturday night, and the wedding on Sunday.  So...because we would need someone to watch Bryant during all of those events, Jamma (Josh's mom) came into town to watch him.  I think they had lots of fun.  Unfortunately I don't have any pictures of them together since I was gone to different events pretty much the entire weekend!  I missed Bryant soooo much, but it was good to be a wife and friend, instead of just mommy all of the time.  Here are some pictures from the weekend below.

Josh put Bryant on Sampson's bed because Sampson was on our bed!

Go Blazers!

I had such a fun day yesterday!  I got to go to my first UAB game.  As most of you know, my daddy is a football coach at UAB, so we are big fans!!  They had their spring game yesterday and mommy took me to watch.  I think I am really going to enjoy football!

2 Month Pediatrician Visit

Hey Everybody!  It's been awhile since I've posted, but I know mommy has been keeping everyone up to speed on me!  Well, I decided to write today about my pediatrician's visit.  It was my first time back since I was 2 weeks old...which seems like forever ago.  I saw Dr. Simpson again and he was super nice.  He checked me over and said I looked awesome!  I am in the top percentile for both my height and weight.  I was 24 1/4 inches long and weighed 13 lbs 4 oz.  Man I've grown a lot over my nine weeks of life...3 inches and 4 lbs 10 oz to be exact!  Mommy says I must be built like daddy!  Now there was one part of my visit that I did not like, and that was the shots!  They were called vaccinations, and they made me cry.  However I only cried for a second, and then my daddy picked me up and I stopped.  For some reason my mommy left the room during the shots part, but she came back in after the nurse was done.  All in all it was an okay visit, however I am glad I don't have to go back for a couple of months!  I guess that's all the news for now, I will try not to go as long without posting next time.  Off to take a nap now!

9 Weeks Old

Here is Bryant's nine week picture.  He is definitely growing!

So this weekend Pops came in to town for some continuing education classes at UAB.  We got to hang out with him a lot when he wasn't in his classes.  Bryant had lots of fun!  Here are a couple of pictures of Bryant and Pops.

Also, I have to include an adorable picture of Bryant and Sampson from this past week.  Sam just plopped down right next to Bryant as though he wanted to hang out with his brother! :)

Until next time...

2 Months Old!!

Bryant is 2 months old today!  How exciting!  I was curious...is it okay to get a birthday cake for him even though he couldn't eat any of it...and even though it is only a 2 month birthday??  I'm going to say YES!! :)  As I always do on his weekly posts, I will say this...TIME IS FLYING!!  I am enjoying every minute of being a stay-at-home mom to my little man.  He does the cutest things every day.  In fact, in the past couple of days he has just started two new things.  First, he has started smiling in response to me.  He has not done it for Josh yet, but he does it for me.  I will talk to him and say silly things and he will smile.  It just melts my heart!  The second thing he has started doing is trying to suck his thumb.  It is too cute! He will sit there and suck on his hand...the knuckles part...trying to find his thumb.  Every now and then he will find it and suck on it for a second, but then he will unknowingly move his hand and lose it.  I don't give it much longer before he is able to find it consistently.  Although I know thumb-sucking is not good, I can't help but enjoy how adorable he looks doing it!  I've attached a picture below to prove it!

Here are a couple more pictures of him today that I wanted to share.  He is sleeping so soundly on his little playmat!

Well, the next time you hear from me I know Bryant will be doing more new and cute things, and I will still be gushing over them! :)
