37 Weeks...and we have a tooth..actually teeth!

Bryant was 37 weeks on Sunday.  Such a cutie pie!  He really is growing up!  I feel like there are several new things he is doing for me to share about.  First, the little man has finally cut his bottom two teeth.  The one on the left is a little ahead of the one on the right, but they have both cut through and are making their way up!  Bryant has actually been pretty good throughout the official teething process.  It's funny because I was looking for all of these signs to show he was teething, but he doesn't really have any of them...except the whole I can see the teeth part! :)  Now, I would love to show you a picture of his up and coming sparkly whites, but my several attempts at getting him to cooperate were failed.   Below is the best I was able to get...and you can't really see them.  (Also, please note the tear on his cheek...it was so sad, he would scream and cry every time I tried to get a picture of his teeth)

Something else new is that he has finally learned how to get down from a standing position.  It took him FOREVER!!  He has been pulling up on everything for over a month now, but the only way he could get down is if he fell or I helped him.  Just yesterday he learned how to bend over and get down.  YAY!!!  No more standing there crying for me to come help him! :)  Before I share his last "new" thing I am going to break up all the writing with some cute pics from this week....so here ya go!

This may look familiar...they really like to stare out the door together! :)

Loves bath time!
They are becoming best friends! :) ...I hope!

So the last thing I want to share about is Bryant's eating.  I have just started to let him feed himself!  I cut his food up into tiny pieces, and if needed, steam it to soften it.  The few times I have done it he has done really well.  He knew exactly what to do, and mashed the food up with his gums.  I am so proud of him!!  Below is a video of him doing it...this was only his third time, and I say he did well!  By the way...this was at the end of his eating, so he was kind of full and just started talking to me and Sam at the end...still Super Cute!!

Until next time...

Grand Ole Pumpkin Patch...and other stuff!

We have had lots of fun the past several days!!  But before I talk about that I just want to share some adorable pictures I took last week.  Several of them contain both Bryant and Sampson.  Bryant really loves his puppy, and Sampson is getting better with Bryant every day! :)

Bryant LOVES to play in Sam's water bowl

Yes...he is holding himself up by Sam's collar and eating it!

He has discovered the blinds in our room...and how fun they are!
At Publix!  He loved riding in this versus his carseat!
 Messing with Sam...as always! :)
You think I kid...but poor Sam rarely gets a break!

Okay, back to our week.  So UAB's football game was on Thursday this week.  My parents (Jojo & Pops) came into town on Thursday and spent the night.  It was great to see them!  It was also great because my mom stayed home with Bryant so that my dad and I could go to the game.  UAB finally won their first game, so I was SO EXCITED I was there!!  I didn't take any pictures except for a few of my dad with Bryant...

Since the UAB game was on Thursday, Josh got to be off on Saturday!  It was his first Saturday off since July!  We had SO much fun!!  We took Bryant to the Grand Ole Pumpkin Patch in Clanton.  Josh has some family that lives there, and they went with us.  We all had a great time!  Below are TONS of pictures documenting the fun times!! :)

 We got Bryant's face painted!
 My Family!!

 We rode the Twactor Train!
My pumpkin with pumpkins!

We took Bryant into the petting zoo!

Our ride out to the pumpkin patch
He was really excited to get on it!

 The pumpkin patch!
Very serious about picking out the perfect pumpkin! Ha!

Leaving after a very fun filled pumpkin patch experience! :)

As you can see Bryant really enjoyed himself, and we did too!  After the pumpkin patch we had bbq with The Russells (Josh's fam) and headed back to Pelham.  Then we just had some friends over and watched football the rest of the day.  It was a GREAT DAY!!  I LOVED every minute that I got to spend with Josh...and Bryant! :)  Let me just shout this out to all you ladies...never take advantage of your husband actually be home on the weekends.  Cherish it!

Until next time...

North Carolina Trip and 36 Weeks!

Above is Bryant's 36 week picture!  As you can tell, I didn't take it in his normal spot.  That is because we were in North Carolina visiting my sister Shelley and her family!  We had SO much fun!!  We flew up Friday and got back yesterday afternoon.  While we were there we really just did a lot of hanging out.  However, a couple of special things we did were: went to Tyler's best friend's 4th birthday party, went to Uncle Dennis's (Shawn's brother) softball game, and went to Chick-fil-a!  All of those things were super fun!  Also Tyler (who is almost 4) and Bryant had fun playing.  It was so cute watching Tyler interact with Bryant.  And Bryant really enjoyed just watching everything his older cousin could do!  In addition, I had lots of fun getting to hang out with my sister and brother-in-law!  Below are lots of pictures from our trip!  As you'll be able to see, we had a great time!!!

P.S. ...my sister is expecting a little girl on March 4th, and as you can see from the pictures, you can't even tell she is pregnant!  Aaahhh...must be nice not to balloon up super early! ;)

Why does my 8 month old look as big as Tyler...who is almost 4!?!??
 Aunt Shelley with the boys!
Uncle Shawn with Bryant at the birthday party!

 Partying it up! :)
