42 Weeks and Santa Visit!!

Above is Bryant's picture from yesterday.  He was 42 weeks.  How cute is his outfit!!  It was from Aunt Hillary.  He wore it to get his picture taken with Santa.  I took him yesterday to get it taken, but the line was WAY to long.  So..we went back today to get it taken.  It was really cold and rainy, but I bundled him up and we went! :)

His face here is too funny!

As far as the actual picture with Santa goes, Bryant was very hesitant, but I handed him to him and he didn't cry.  However, then the lady taking the picture blew this loud high pitched horn in order to get his attention and it scared him...thus began the crying!  Poor thing, he was just scared and wanted his mommy. :(  Anyway, he did stop crying long enough to get a decent picture!

All in all, the Santa visit was pretty unexciting and kind of a waste of time.  I of course just did it for the picture! :)  Anyway, below are some pictures of him from the past several days...

 Having fun messing with Sam!
His adorable onesie is from Aunt Meghan & Uncle Chris...from their visit to Jackson Hole, WY!
He had been terrorizing Sam...do you see a pattern... :)

For some reason he LOVES playing with his carseat

Happy Thanksgiving!!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone...a day late! :)  We had a pretty good Thanksgiving yesterday.  Josh had to  work in the morning, so we stayed in town.  My parents, my grandmother, and my sister Hillary and her husband came up.  It was so much fun!  We all went to my Aunt Susan & Uncle Hugh's house here in Birmingham for Thanksgiving lunch!  We all split up the tasks of cooking, so it was great to have an entire Thanksgiving meal while only having to cook part of it!  We had a great time except for one thing...Bryant was sick. :(  My poor child who has never had a fever was running over a 102 degrees fever all day yesterday.  It made him not feel good at all.  There isn't anything else going on, so I think he may just have a fever virus.  The doctor was closed yesterday, and so I waited until today to see how he felt.  He is still running a fever, but tylenol seems to help.  So, for now we are staying home.  However, if he is still running a fever tomorrow we will have to go to the doctor. :(  Anyway, even though it didn't go quite as planned, I think Bryant had a pretty good first Thanksgiving!!  Below are pictures from our day...

41 Weeks!

Above is Bryant's 41 week picture!  Such a cutie!  You can actually see all 4 of his teeth in the picture...see below.  The bottom two are all the way in...the top two are still coming in.

We have had a good week.  UAB's game was on Thursday night and we beat #20 Southern Miss.  GO BLAZERS!!!  I was so excited that I got to be at the game!  My parents drove up just for the game, and my mom stayed with Bryant and my dad went with me to the game.  FUN!!  Then Friday night our friends Thomas and Amber came over and kept Bryant while Josh and I went out on a date.  So much fun!!  We are so blessed to have friends that will do that for us!  Yesterday, the whole family just hung out!  We went to the park and I attempted to take some pictures of Bryant to try and use for a Christmas card.  However, I wasn't able to get anything great...  I'll share some of them below.  I am really looking forward to this next week...Thanksgiving with family! :)  Anyway, here are some pictures of the little man!

 Such a mess!

 "Let me out!!"
 He LOVES grits!!
Bryant's Jama gave him this adorable outfit!

He loves being on his daddy's shoulders!

Such a happy puppy!!

40 Weeks!!!

I can not believe that Bryant is 40 weeks old!  I mean...the 30s weeks passed by sooo fast...and that means he will be a year old before I know it!  AAHHH....  Okay, meltdown over! :)  So, we have had a pretty laid back week.  Not much exciting going on.  However, one fun thing is that ever since we got the go ahead from the pediatrician last Monday, we have been feeding Bryant all sorts of new stuff!  Two of his favorites...chicken and plain organic whole milk yogurt mixed with unsweetened organic applesauce!  YUM!!!    I am determined to not give Bryant unhealthy foods.  Josh and I are setting him up for his eating habits for life in these first few years, and I want him to be healthy! :)  So far, so good!  Anyway, below are some fun pictures from the past week!  Enjoy!!

If you look in the mirror you can see how funny he is sleeping!

Sam LOVES having another person to beg from...especially now that he eats meat!

He was watching Sam bark outside!

Grilled chicken, potatoes, and green beans!  Yummy!

Loves making the springs go boing!
He was suppose to be napping...instead he was standing messing with his mobile!

Until next time...

9 Month Checkup...and 39 Weeks

Bryant was 39 weeks on Sunday.  He was also exactly 9 months old on Sunday!  Such a big boy!!  On Monday we had his 9 Month Pediatrician visit.  It went really well.  He checked Bryant over and said he looked great!  His percentages were as follows: Weight - 18 lbs 5 oz -> 20th percentile ; Height - 29 inches -> 80th percentile ; Head circumference - 17 3/4 inches -> 50th percentile.  Tall and Skinny!!  So as you can see he once again fell in the weight percentage.  It is so weird to me that he went from 90th (2 months) - 60th (4 months) - 40th (6 months) - 20th (9 months).  However, the doctor didn't seem worried at all.  However, I will say this, I am now going to feed Bryant however much food he wants...as long as it's healthy food!  Even if it's a whole banana and 1/2 potato at one sitting!! :)  Bryant also handled his shots like a champ!  I of course made Josh hold his arms down and Bryant cried for about 2 seconds and that was it!  All in all a good visit!

Here are some pictures of Bryant and a few of Sampson:

This is what you have to do so you can go to the restroom without him pulling up on you or the toilet!
 LOVES playing in the fridge!
 My Boys!!!
Sampson LOOOVES his daddy!!
