Bryant's First Round of Golf!

We have had a great weekend!  I went to a Women's Conference on Friday evening and all day Saturday.  It was at our church, Church of the Highlands.  It was AMAZING!!  This was my first year going, and it was just such an experience.  The presence of God was definitely there, and it was just so cool worshipping and learning with thousands of other women.  I am so thankful I was able to go.  While I was there on Friday night, Bryant hung out with his friend Jacob (and mom Liz).  She was so sweet to watch him so I could go.  Josh was gone with some guy friends to the Braves game.  They were doing some special thing for Chipper Jones, so he of course had to be there! :)  Then on Saturday, Josh and Bryant and 3 other guys went to play golf.  It was Bryant's first time on a golf course.  He apparently had the BEST time ever!!!  Josh was such a good dad and remembered to bring Bryant's golf club.  So Bryant got to play some too. ;)  And thankfully all of the guys helped out with him so that everyone could play.  They only played nine holes, but I think Bryant would have been cool with more.  Josh said that Bryant threw a fit on both the 8th and 9th hole when Josh made him leave the greens.  Ha!  I told Josh he should golf more often…as long as he takes Bryant. :)  So that was our weekend!  I have one more thing I have to share.  Today, for the very first time, Bryant told Josh and I "I love you".  It was one of the best things ever!  We would say to him "I love you", and he would say back "I wuv u".  PRECIOUS!!  In case I haven't said it lately, I LOOOOOVE being a mommy!!!!  Anyway, that's all for now.  Below are some pictures from Bryant's first golf trip!

Poppi Visits and Other Stuff!

So...I apologize for it being well over a week since my last post.  I have no excuse…except for being busy and tired!  Anyway, here's what's been going on.  Last week was a regular week.  Bryant went to playschool, and we had our first MOPS meeting.  Well, it was actually the second meeting, but it was the first one I was able to go to.  I LOVE my MOPS girls!  I always leave so lighthearted and encouraged. :)  Oh, and for those that don't know, MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers.  Then on Friday Poppi came to visit again.  On Saturday Josh went with his dad and his dad's friend to the Alabama game.  I think they had a blast!  I stayed home with the little man, and we had a fun mommy-son day. :)  Then on Sunday we all went to church and lunch.  It was fun!  Unfortunately when you are looking at the pictures I have you won't notice any of Poppi and Bryant.  That is because I totally did not take any.  Oops!!  Anyway, on Sunday afternoon Bryant and I went to his friend Lee Griffin's 2nd Birthday Party.  There were lots of other kids there, and Bryant had a blast!  He played and ran and laughed…it was fun to watch. :)  So far this week has been pretty chill.  Just same ole' same ole'!  Well, I guess that's all.  Here are a few pictures of Bryant.  Enjoy!

Parks and Playschool…that was our life!

This week was pretty boring.  We have just done the regular.  We went to the park several days, one day we met our friends Liz and Jacob there.  Then Bryant of course had his playschool.  Bragging mama moment:  When I picked up Bryant from playschool on Thursday his teacher said, "He is so good.  He is the baby of the group, but he is just so good." :)  Thank you, and I know!! ;)  The only exciting thing this week I guess was on Saturday we went to a surprise birthday party for our good friend Matt.  It was a lot of fun!  We just ate good food and watched football.  Unfortunately I forgot my camera…  Oh well!  I do have several other pictures to share from our past week.  Enjoy!

1st Week of Playschool and Weekend at Jojo & Pops

We have had a really great week!  Bryant started his playschool this week.  He is going on Tuesday/Thursday from 9:00-1:00.  Although I missed him terribly, I think he had fun.  They did artwork, played, went to the playground, and other fun stuff!  I know it is going to be good for both of us!  Below are a few pictures of him ready for his first day.

 They have to wear close toed shoes, and preferably clothes that they can get dirty in!

On Thursday Bryant went to playschool again, and he got his 2nd haircut!  He did not like getting his hair cut at all this time.  He cried almost the whole time.  It was sad.  I decided that from now on I am going to let Josh take him to get his hair cut. :)  Below are a some pictures of him playing after his haircut.

This weekend Bryant went and stayed with Jojo and Pops!  It was our second baby-free weekend, and I definitely did things a little different.  I rested A LOT!  I have been sick with a cold/sinus stuff for over a week, so I laid low this weekend in hopes of speeding up my recovery!  The bad part was, since I wasn't busy the whole time, I definitely missed Bryant more.  But, once again, it was good for Josh and I, and Bryant had a blast!  Below are some pictures I took when we met my parents in Prattville today to eat lunch and exchange Bryant.

Labor Day Weekend!

We had a fun rest of the week last week, and a super fun weekend!  Last Thursday Josh was getting ready for work.  He always sits in his chair to put his shoes on.  Well, for some reason Bryant decided he wanted to wear daddy's shoes…and below is what I captured.

Also on Thursday, we had Meet the Teacher Day for Bryant's playschool.  It went well.  The teacher was nice, and Bryant had fun playing in his room.  His class is going to consist of 6 BOYS with birthdays between September 1, 2010 - February 28, 2011.  So Bryant is actually the youngest in his class.  He starts tomorrow, and I am pretty sad about it. :(  He will be going on Tuesday & Thursday 9:00-1:00.  I know it will be good for him…

Well this weekend was super fun!  On Saturday we went and hung out with some friends to watch football!  Bryant got to play with his friend Jacob, and the adults got to enjoy the first football weekend.  It was a great time!

Then on Sunday we went down to Lake Martin until Monday.  This time we went to our friend Thomas's parents house.  They live on the lake.  We got to ride the boat, swim and play!  Bryant had a blast!!  One of Thomas's brothers has a 5 year old little girl, and the other brother has a 22 month little boy.  So Bryant got to play with both of them.  It was a fantastic Labor Day Weekend!!!
