We have had a good week. This past weekend was fun because Pops was in town. He came up for some Continuing Education courses, and we got to hang out with him some on Saturday and Sunday. Bryant always has SO much fun with Pops, so it was a treat. On Sunday we had family pictures taken. This was the first time we have ever had them done, and I am so excited to see the results. Julie did a great job and was more patient with the kids than I was. Of course it's hard to get Taylor to look at the camera, but who knew it would be so difficult to get Bryant to actually look. Oh well, I know she was able to get some good ones. This week we have had play dates with friends two different days. Like always, that was fun! And also this week Bryant had his 2nd dentist appointment. He did so good! Unfortunately the dentist did say something about maybe trying to break him of the paci soon. His bite is getting messed up from them. Oh if he only knew how attached Bryant is… My goal is to have it gone by the time he is three…which means I'll probably take it the day before his birthday. ;0) jk And lastly, tonight I introduced Taylor to solid food! I really didn't want to, but I figured she is 6 1/2 months old, so it was definitely time…if not past time. I decided to bypass the rice cereal and just start with veggies/fruits. So her first food was carrots! She did pretty good the first several spoonfuls, but then she started gagging herself. So I would say it was a success, but she probably got very little carrot in her actual tummy. Anyway, that's all our excitement for now…below are lots of pictures. :)

All the kids were eating lunch, so she wanted to eat something too!
Such a big boy at the dentist.
He got a sticker for doing so good, and he wanted it on his face. :)

Ready to go for a walk with mommy!
Yummy homemade organic carrots!
She's waiting so patiently for her food.
Her first bite…she's not too sure of it.
Chew, chew, chew :)
Looking at me like "What this be mom?"
No more, no more…I'd prefer my thumb ;)
She thought it was a fun time!
Until next time…
