Merry Christmas 2013!!!

We had an absolutely wonderful Christmas this year.  We got to see almost all of our families, and that was so special.  Josh and Bryant left the Friday before Christmas to head down to Bainbridge.  Josh stayed at the duck camp and hunted, and Bryant spent some time with Jama.  I think they both had fun. Then Taylor and I joined them down in Bainbridge on Saturday.  Josh's brother and his fiance and Josh's sister and her family both got to Bainbridge on Sunday.  We all got to hang out a lot and do different traditions that they always do.  We stayed there through lunch on Christmas day.  So Santa came to see the kids in Bainbridge this year.  Santa got the kids lots of great stuff, and every one else was extremely generous too.  It was really sweet.  Christmas afternoon we all headed to Opelika to spend some time with my family!  All of my sisters and their families came too.  It was so much fun!!  I do have to admit though that it was quite crazy.  Bryant was older this year, and we had two additional kids (Taylor and Wells).  I wouldn't have traded it for anything though! We all just played, celebrated Christmas together, hung out, ate, and had a small baby shower for Grace.  It was great!  We finally got back home yesterday…and boy was it nice to be home.  Being gone that long, especially with two young children, is quite tiring.  We definitely had a blast though, and below are lots of pictures proving it!

 What a great Christmas surprise!!  Meghan & Chris opened an envelope telling them whether they are having a boy or girl!!  Since I didn't ask whether I could share the sex or not, I better not, but we are SO excited about having a new cousin next June!

Fire Station Visit!

We had a really cool play date on Wednesday. We took the kids to the fire station!  It was a lot of fun.  The kids got to tour the whole place and play in the fire truck.  They had such a good time with the firefighters too.  And Bryant really enjoyed driving the big fire truck!  Then on Thursday we had a work Christmas Party for Josh's reps at our house.  It was a lot of fun!  I sure do love Christmas time! :)  Anyway, below are some pictures from our Fire Station visit.

Play date and Sickness!

We have had a decent week.  Last Friday we had a fun play date with some friends at Pump it Up and Chickfila.  Bryant had a BLAST at Pump it Up.  We had not been in a while, and he enjoyed bouncing and sliding so much.  Afterwards we ate lunch at Chickfila and played for a few minutes.  Bryant had been a little under the weather just with a cough and clear runny nose, but for some reason Friday afternoon he broke out into hives.  It was awful and scared me.  And of course it had to happen while Josh was out of town hunting. :(  So I ended up at the doctor with him.  Turns out the hives were from his body fighting the illness he had…weird!?  But I was glad to know it wasn't anything more.  The hives are completely gone now, and his congestion and cough are much better!  However, poor Taylor is sick now.  She has more congestion than Bryant did and is coughing a lot.  It's pitiful, and unfortunately causing her to not be able to sleep.  Last night she slept on my chest for 3 hours…too bad I didn't get to sleep the whole 3 hours…  Anyway, I am praying both of my babies will be 100% before our Christmas festivities start!   One more fun thing is on Sunday we went and looked at Christmas lights.  Bryant LOVES riding around and looking at all the lights and finding all of the santas.  This one house near us does a light show.  You tune into this AM station and listen to the music and the lights go with it.  It was great!!  Fun family memories. :)  Below are lots of pictures.
