T-Ball, School and Other Fun!

Last Tuesday Bryant had his first t-ball practice.  He is playing Summer T-Ball at the YMCA in the 3-4 year old league.  They are the Braves. :)  Josh volunteered to "help" coach, and he turned out to be the only coach.  Thankfully his friend Matt agreed to help him.  The practice was interesting…so I can't wait for their first game next Tuesday!  Hey, at this age, I just want Bryant to have fun!  Also last week Bryant started a summer preschool program.  It is a different place than he usually goes, and I don't like it as much, but it's just for 6 weeks.  He goes Tues/Thurs just like during the school year.  Other than that we did go swimming one day last week, and that was it.  Unfortunately our family spent all weekend sick.  We've had a fever and stomach bug thing going around.  It started with me, and then I decided to share with Josh and Taylor.  I thought Bryant had made it through without getting it, but he has had a fever and not felt well today. :(  Maybe his will only last today instead of 3 days like the rest of us.  Before I realized how yucky Bryant felt, I took the kids to meet some friends at a blueberry picking farm in Pelham today.  It was good because I got some yummy, fresh blueberries, but after about 10 minutes Bryant was pretty pitiful.  So we only ended up staying for about 30 minutes.  Oh well!  We may go back in a week or two…  I guess that's about all for us for now!  Below are pics.

Zoo, Swimming, Father's Day, & McWane Center!!

We have had a fun, activity filled week!  Last Wednesday we went with some friends to the zoo.  The kids of course had so much fun.  I think we could go to the zoo every week and they would love it!  Then on Thursday we went to our friend Ashley's neighborhood pool to swim.  It was so fun!  Their pool has a zero entry, so I thought that would be so great because Taylor could sit in it and splash and stuff! Yeah right!!  That girl just kept trying to walk into the water.  One time she did face plant into the water before I caught her.  It was fun, but definitely not relaxing. ;)  Then on Friday one of Josh's good friends and his wife and almost two year old came into town and stayed with us.  It was great to see them and the kids had fun playing together.  And of course Sunday was Father's Day!  Josh was gone most of the day, but my parents came up for the day, so I got to spend it with my dad!  We had such a blast!  We just did a lot of playing and went out to dinner.  Bryant had so much fun that when they got ready to go he blocked the door so they couldn't get out.  It was so precious…and a little sad.  Then today we went to the McWane center with some friends.  Both kids had fun, but Taylor definitely had the most fun!  Since she can walk now, this was the first time she'd really gotten to experience everything.  She was walking around the entire time just having a blast.  It was so much fun to watch!  Anyway, that's about it.  Now that I type it out I realize we have had quite a busy week! :) Below are lots of pictures.

Can you tell how happy Taylor is about being in the stroller. ;)

Busy, Busy having Fun, Fun!

I knew it had been a while since I had posted…but I didn't realize it'd been two weeks!  My bad!  We have had a ton going on for the past few weeks.  I honestly can't remember everything…but we've had lots of play dates with different friends…one at the McWane center, lots of dinners and cookouts with different friends, and lots of fun!  One big thing we've had going on is VBS (Vacation Bible School).  Bryant is not old enough to attend yet, but I actually volunteered at FBC Pelham, so he got to go.  I worked in the 3K craft room, and I had a blast!  It was quite fun having something to do besides take care of my kiddos 24/7.  While I volunteered Taylor was kept in the nursery and Bryant got to go to the 2K class, which was just for volunteers kids.  He got to play outside a lot, make crafts, have music time, and all that fun stuff!  He was so excited to go every day.  It really was great!  We also went to a Barons Baseball game on Friday night.  My friend Courtney's company was having their company-wide family night, and they had extra tickets and asked us to go.  There was food and games and stuff in an inside room.  Unfortunately it rained, so the game started an hour late, and therefore we only stayed for the first inning because it was late.  But it was still lots of fun.  One more really fun thing is that Taylor just in the past couple of days has started walking again.  She has walked all the way from our fireplace to the couch all by herself.  I am SO excited because it would make our outings so much easier if she could walk.  Hopefully within the next week or two she will be a full-fledged walker!  Below are some pictures from the past few weeks.

She's a cute MESS!!
 So Pretty! :)
His favorite place to be. :)
Don't all 3 year olds squat down to watch their putt go in the hole? ;)
 Practice, practice, practice
 Taylor was playing too.
 McWane center puzzle time.
 FISH!!
The McWane center was very tiring.
This is right by the elevators, so we always have to stop for a while…coming in and leaving.
 Silly girl
Chickfila! She's so glad she's the second child… ;)
 Handsome boy
Hmm…I don't think that's how you drink the milk...
His secret agent glasses from VBS
We did this with our 3K classes at VBS and I loved it so much that I grabbed Bryant out of his class so I could make one with him. :)
Having fun at the Barons game event.
She just climbed on the table, grabbed the bag of chips and helped herself!
This was his favorite part of the Barons game event.  He LOVES shooting some hoops!
Courtney and I with our May 1st babies!!
Finally…the baseball game!
We went to Academy Sports to buy a baseball helmet and spent a LONG time here instead!
 Picking out her putter.
Putting…or as he kept saying, playing mini golf.
 Playing on the slide.
Haha…he wouldn't move so she just pushed him out of her way!

Until next time…
