Trip to Opelika, Drive Chip & Putt, and Luke Bryan Concert!

We have had a fun week and a half since I last posted.  Last week the kids and I went down to Opelika for a few days.  My sister Grace and her family were down from Connecticut visiting my parents.  It was so good to see them!  And it was so much fun watching all the cousins play.  They had an absolute blast!  Also last week Bryant participated in the local round of Drive, Chip, & Putt.  You have to be 7 by next April 1st, so he barely made the cut off.  I think he had a good time participating, and he did great for his age.  However his bracket was 7-9 year olds, and he did not make it to the next round.  But I think he will definitely want to participate again next year.  Then last Friday Josh and I went with some good friends to the Luke Bryan concert in Atlanta.  We had the best time!!  We got to do the Meet and Greet with Luke, watch the concert from the Pit area, and go backstage and hang out after the concert with the artists.  It was such an awesome experience.  And the concert itself was so good! This week we have enjoyed being low key.  We have gotten to hang out with Josh a lot and Bryant had one of his best friends birthday parties last night.  It's been a good week.  Below are just a few pictures.

Memorial Day Weekend at the Lake, Longboat Key, FL Trip, VBS, & Golf Tournament

We have had a really busy and fun past two and a half weeks!  Backing up to Memorial Day Weekend, we got to spend the long weekend with some friends at the lake.  We had the best time.  The kids had an absolute blast together, the adults got to hang out tons, and the weather was absolutely perfect!  It was great!  We came home from the lake on Monday, and the kids and I left the next day to head to Jama's house in Longboat Key.  We stayed there for the rest of the week.  We had lots of fun.  We swam a lot and went to the beach.  Taylor and Bryant loved the ocean, Thomas liked being in it but didn't like walking out into it.  He would scream at the waves. ;)  We also went to the Mote Aquarium one afternoon when it was storming.  The kids enjoyed that a lot.  All in all it was a fantastic trip!  The following week was more low-key being back home.  Taylor and Bryant had VBS all week, and they had a great time!  At the end of the week they had a little program that night where they sang and danced to the songs they learned that week.  It was super cute.  This past Sunday was the Parent-Child Golf Tournament at ACC.  This was Josh and Bryant's second year playing in it.  The younger two kiddos and I went out and watched them.  It was fun to watch, and Bryant did good.  They tied for first, but he ended up getting second with a scorecard playoff.  They had a great time playing!  That's about it.  Below are TONS of pictures. :)
