Football, Friends & Family, and Birthday Parties!

The past couple of weeks have been full of fun and visitors!  Our good friends the Pippins came over from Bham the weekend of the Samford game.  It was great to see them.  We went to the game together, as well as Jama who came in that weekend, and had a blast!! Jama then stayed the following week and weekend with us.  It's always nice when she visits because she is so helpful and the kids love having her!  On Monday Bryant and Taylor had their 6 and 4 year old checkups.  All was well.  Bryant weighed 69 lbs and was 4 ft 4 inches.  This put him in the 98th and 99th percentiles.  He is huge.  Which we already knew!  Tay was 43 lbs and 3 ft 8 inches.  This put her in the 88th percentile for weight and 97th for height.  So she is tall!  Which we also already knew.  On Tuesday Bryant had his first flag football game, which he scored a long, running touchdown in!  And they won!  Then that Thursday was the 1st Grade Parent Breakfast at B's school. The whole family went, and it was fun to all be with Bryant!  Then this past weekend was super busy!  Josh's brother and his family came to visit and go to the game.  They got here Thursday night.  Friday we just all hung out.  Then Saturday Bryant had his best friend from school's birthday party.  Of course Taylor and Thomas wanted to go to, so we all went.  It was a fun party!  Right after the party we left to go to the UGA vs. Miss St game.  Only Bryant got to go with me because it was a late game.  Of course Jama and Josh's brother and his wife went with us too.  It was SO much fun!  The game itself was just awesome.  So Awesome!!  With a 31-3 win!!  Then on Sunday all of our company headed home, and me and the kids had another birthday party.  This one was for some twin boys in our neighborhood who all the kids are friends with!  The party was at Washington Farms, which just opened for the Fall season.  It was an absolute blast!!  The kids love Washington Farms, and it was even more fun doing everything with friends.  Well, that's all for now! Below are lots of pictures.

Football, Labor Day, Sam's B'day, Irmageddon, etc..

I feel like the last 4 weeks have consisted of about the same things: school and football.  It has been really nice being back into a routine with all three kids having school some.  Taylor and Thomas are both loving preschool.  Every single Mon and Wed when we go drop Taylor off Thomas cries because he doesn't get to go.  Every.  Time.  It's cute/pitiful.  Besides school Bryant has had a lot of flag football practice.  He is so ready for his first game, which was suppose to be this week, but instead is going to be next week.  He can't wait!  A few weeks ago me and all three kids went to the UGA vs. App State game. We did the whole experience: tailgating, Dawg Walk, pregame on the field, and the actual game.  The kids had a great time and did awesome.  We did leave at halftime, just because of how late it was getting for Thomas, but all in all we had a great time.  Then on Labor Day we had one last hoorah of summer at the pool.  Josh had to work, but the kids and I had fun.  Then that Tuesday, September 5th, our sweet puppy dog Sam, the namesake of the blog, turned THIRTEEN!!  It is so crazy that I have had him for thirteen years.  He has seriously been the absolute best dog.  And even though he is slowing down some, I think he is still doing amazing to be 13!  Another exciting thing that happened recently was Hurricane Irma.  We got to have some unexpected family time due to Josh's sister and her two kiddos evacuating south Florida.  All of the cousins had so much fun playing together.  It was a good, surprise visit.  And thankfully they didn't get hit near as bad as originally predicted, and we just lost power for a long afternoon/evening.  Because of the storm the kids didn't have school this past Monday or Tuesday.  So we had a nice little 4-day weekend.  Well...nice besides the weather. ;)  Anyway, I think that about covers the main stuff.  Below are lots of pictures.

In my last post I shared the pics I took of Uga.  This is the one from the photographer.  It's actually decent!
Watching the Solar Eclipse with our neighbor.  This was at 99% Totality.  Still so bright!

Watching bubba practice for an hour can be tiring. ;)
