First Football Game!

Bryant went to his first football game today!  The UAB Blazers took on the Tulane Green Wave.  Unfortunately we lost, but I think Bryant had a pretty good time.  At first he was really unsure of all the loud noise, in fact it made him cry a couple of times.  However, once he got use to it he was fine!  We spent a little bit of the game in the wives suite box.  It was nice up there because I could put him down and he could crawl around.

However, I really enjoy being in the stands!  It just feels more like the football atmosphere.  Plus today's weather was amazing!!  We had a fun time!

First Day of Mother's Day Out!!

Today was Bryant's first day at Mother's Day Out.  As I mentioned in a previous post, he is going to be attending from 9:15-1:30 every Tuesday.  I was a little nervous when I dropped him off, but he did great!!! When I picked him up they told me he was such a good boy!  He had taken an hour nap, played, and taken a 5 oz bottle!!  Although he didn't want the bottle, apparently after 15 minutes he finally took it!  So yay!!  As for me...I cleaned!!  And when I say cleaned, I mean really cleaned.  I finished laundry, made Bryant some baby food, cleaned both bathrooms, cleaned the kitchen, swept, mopped, dusted, vacuumed, and took out the trash!  I literally did not sit down the entire 4 hours!!!  But, as you could probably figure out, I am sitting down now while Bryant takes an afternoon nap! :) All in all I think the Mother's Day Out is going to be a great thing!  Below are a few pictures of him and his classroom!

31 Weeks Old!

Above is Bryant's 31 week picture!  He looks so big!!  I think it must just be the angle and outfit...surely my little baby isn't that big yet! :)  Anyway, we had a fun weekend.  Josh was out of town (UAB played Florida in Gainesville), so Bryant and I decided to drive over to Marietta to see my sister.  It was a very short visit, but we had fun!  We just hung out, watched the UAB vs. UF game, and went walking/hiking.  One really cool thing was at Kennesaw Mountain (where we hiked...a civil war battle was there) they had all of these flags placed up in the battlefield area in remembrance of 9/11.   It looked awesome!  I took a few pictures and will include them below, along with a few others from the weekend!

Who needs toys!?!

Just wanted to share a few cute pictures and an ADORABLE video of Bryant!  He is such a mess now that he can crawl.  He is no longer as interested in his toys, instead he wants to play with my shoes...or speakers...or magazines...or cords...or pretty much anything that he shouldn't!  I mean I feel like we waste money on any toys we get him because he would much rather play with other stuff!  It is cute, but not...if you know what I mean!  Anyway, his FAVORITE thing to play with though is Sampson.  He chases him all over the house!  And poor Sam, he just looks at me like 'Aren't you gonna stop him mom!'  Below is a video of Bryant finding it hysterical every time Sampson catches a treat I throw him.  It is too precious!

Happy Birthday Sampson & Happy Labor Day!!

Sampson!!

Hey guys!  Guess what, yesterday was my puppy's (a.k.a. brother's) birthday!  He turned 7 years old!!  Man...he's old!  We actually celebrated it with presents and a cake.  Mommy made the cake, and although I think she made it because she wanted cake, they did let Sampson have a slice.  Although...they didn't let me have any. :(  Also, Sampson loves his duck toys, so mommy and daddy got him a new one, and then they also got him a bone.  He seemed to really enjoy both!  Below are some pictures.

Not only was yesterday Sam's birthday, but it was also Labor Day!  Since Pops didn't have to work, he and my Great-Gran (his mom) came up to see me for the day.  We had so much fun!!  They played with me and held me and made a big fuss about how awesome I am.  I LOVED IT!! :)

Well...that was it for yesterday!  However, I do have one more fun thing to share about today.  This morning me and mommy went to the Open House for Mother's Day Out.  Starting next Tuesday I am going to be attending a Mother's Day Out once a week from 9:15 - 1:30.  I am really looking forward to it.  My teachers that I met today seemed really nice, and the room I am going to be in had lots of toys I'd never played with before.  It is going to be great!!  Below is a picture showing how excited I was to be going.

30 Weeks Old...and DEFINITELY Crawling!!

Bryant is 30 weeks old today!   Yep...we have entered the thirties, which is soooo crazy!!  He is growing up every day.  A couple of days ago he was just starting to crawl, and now he is crawling faster and all over the place.  It's crazy how quickly he has mastered it!  I guess he wanted to make sure he was a good crawler before he turned 7 months...which is Tuesday.  Below is a video of how good he has gotten!  Oh, and Josh agrees now, he is crawling! ;)

I have 3 other videos of him crawling everywhere, but I figured I'd just share one of them!  Anyway, below are a few more pictures from the past few days of him doing something he LOVES to do...play with the computer!  He is super smart for his age! :)

6 Month Photoshoot, practically Crawling, new way of Eating, and more!!

As you can tell from the title, I am including a lot in this post...so enjoy!  First off, on August 13th Bryant had a 6 month photo shoot!  The results were awesome!!  Some of you may have seen a preview of some of the pictures on facebook, but here are some of those and more!  I have to give a shout out to Julie Sumerel for doing such a great job!  I love them!!  And by the way, I am including A LOT, but there are seriously tons more!

I know I am bias, but I think those pictures go to prove that Bryant is the cutest baby ever!! :)  So...something new Bryant has started doing is sticking his hand in his mouth when he eats.  It is hilarious, but annoying.  I will put a bite in his mouth and he immediately moves his hand into it.  I guess it's some new form of eating I'm not aware of.  All I know is it causes a BIG mess....

Yes you do see sweet potatoes on his eyebrows and bananas in his eyelashes!! Check out the video below to see his new way of eating!!

Bryant has also gotten much better at his crawling.  In my opinion he is crawling, but Josh disagrees.  You can watch the video below and see that I am right!! ;)  He is definitely on all 4's moving across the floor!

Overall we have had a fun week, although we haven't done anything super exciting!  But to me, every day is exciting because I get to watch my cutie pie grow up!!  Here are a few more pictures of him from this week!
