Bryant was 51 weeks on Sunday! I can't believe this is the last "week" post I will ever write! My baby boy will be a year old in less than a week!!! Anyway, no need in me getting emotional about it yet, on to other things! :) So, one new thing we have done is we FINALLY moved Bryant into his big boy car seat. Yes, yes, I have been needing to do it for a month or two, but selfishly didn't want to. I loved that I could still pull him out in his car seat and snap it into a stroller frame and go! It was great for a quick trip into the store or something. Oh well, I guess he is practically one, and he was definitely getting way too big for his bucket seat! Anyway, funny story about the new car seat. Josh took it to the fire department to let them help install it because he couldn't get it in right. Well, the "Certified" firemen ended up using a pink pool noodle to make the car seat tilt the way it was suppose to. How crazy/funny is that! It's in tight now, and even though there is a noodle underneath it, I feel safe knowing that 3 firemen, who are certified by the insurance agencies to install car seats, worked on it!!
He had to explore his new car seat!
Please notice the pink swim noodle! HA!!
Look at what a big boy he is!!!
Something else that was fun for Bryant was that he got his first birthday present! It was a Rody from Aunt Meghan & Uncle Chris. For those of you who don't know what a Rody is (like me before we got one), it is a blow up horse that your child can ride and bounce on! At his age though you can use it on a base that turns it into a rocking horse. It's pretty cool! Anyway, below are some pictures. FYI...as of right now Bryant isn't the biggest fan of Rody (as you will see in the pictures), but I definitely think he will grow to love it!!
RODY!!!
"Umm...I'm not so sure I like this..."
"I definitely don't like this!"
Yeah we did!! :) I mean what is a cowboy without a cowboy hat!!
Finally a picture where he wasn't crying!
I also want to include a picture of something pretty precious! So, I was in the kitchen doing some dishes and I saw Bryant crawling into his room from the corner of my eye. Well, I realized that about 5 minutes had passed and I had not heard a peep out of him! Naturally I darted into his room to see what he was into that he wasn't suppose to be, since that is usually why children get quiet. Below is what I found... :)
PRECIOUS!!!
Well, below are a couple more cute pictures of him from the past couple of days! Two are super cute pictures from when I was trying to get his teddy bear picture. The others are just to show how much he LOVES his pacifiers!
Look! He actually doesn't have his chipmunk cheeks in this picture! :)
One in the mouth, One to play with!
Until next time...
Heather
