Easter Bunny and Family Visit!

Hello everyone.  So my sister Hillary pointed out to me that I have not been posting as often as I used to and it made her sad.  Therefore, I am going to get better!  My goal is to write two posts a week.  I really hope I am able to do it.  Anyway, we have had a fun past week.  First, last weekend Bryant got to go see the Easter bunny. I think he had an okay time with it.  The lady working there held him and got him to warm up to her and then placed him quickly in the bunny's lap.  It worked great.  He never looked back at the bunny's face and therefore did not cry.  However, he did keep looking down with a very uncertain face at the big, furry white arm that was holding him.  It was pretty funny.  Below is the picture we ended up picking.

Also, when you visit the Easter bunny they give you a present.  It is a little mask thing.  Anyway, I tried it on Bryant to get a picture and he DID NOT like it!  It was kind of funny.

Well on Sunday my poor Bryant got stung by a wasp.  It was horrible.  He was playing with the blinds in the back of our house, and apparently there was a wasp in there.  It ended up stinging him on the finger.  He cried for a little bit, but then he was better.  However, I was not.  I was SO upset.  I literally hit the wasp that stung him with my shoe like 10 times.  I was so mad at it for hurting my poor baby. :(  His finger swelled up pretty bad, but Bryant wasn't too bothered by it.  He is so good.

On Thursday Bryant and I went down to Opelika again.  Josh wasn't able to go with us this time.  We were only there for a day, but it was fun.  Our reason for going down was because my sister Hillary and her husband Evan were going to be there.  So we went down and hung out with them and Jojo and Pops.  It was a lot of fun!  Below are lots of pictures from our short trip.

Picture Perfect!!

I have really wanted to get some good, "professional" looking pictures of Bryant lately.  See, I wanted to have 12 Month pictures done of him, but we weren't able to.  So...I have attempted to take some of my own.  Below is my attempt! :)  We were in Opelika the other day, so that is where they were taken.  I of course think Bryant is precious, regardless of my picture taking skills! ;)

I took a TON more than that, but those were some of the best.  I hope you liked them!  As I mentioned above, we were in Opelika for a day earlier this week.  We had a fun time, even though it was a quick trip.  Other than that we have been low key this week.  Nothing really new or exciting going on...  Below are some more pictures from this week, some at home and some at Jojo & Pops.

Another New Cousin and Lots of other stuff!!

Well, Bryant has another new girl cousin!!  Josh's sister, Meghan, had a baby girl on Thursday.  Her name is Charlotte Kate Hurley, and we are SO excited!  Below are a couple of pictures (courtesy of Jama) of the precious bundle!

I really hope we get to get up to Washington DC and meet this sweet new baby soon!  And of course we still haven't gotten to meet Bryant's other cousin Addie yet either!  I foresee a roadtrip north soon!! ;)

Anyway, there is lots of new stuff my little man is doing lately!  First off, he is now brushing his teeth!  I know he has had teeth for a while now, but I never brushed them.  However, I decided it was time to start since he was getting his 7th tooth in!!  He lets me brush them for maybe 15 seconds or so, but then he just wants to chew on the toothbrush.  Typical...and cute!

We had a really fun time earlier this week because Jojo came up to visit.  She was only here for like 24 hours, but we still had fun!!  We just hung out and went to the park.  Below are some pictures from our park trip.  Bryant had a great time as always!

The last thing I wanted to write about can be explained with the following phrase Josh likes to use: "Monkey see, Monkey do".  And that explains our Bryant right now.  He is picking up on so much stuff!  He is like a sponge!!  He has started waving goodbye, clapping, and he has even started singing.  At the park we were swinging him and singing "Swing high, swing low, swing high, Bryant O".  I'm not sure if this is a common song, or if my parents made it up, but regardless, once we stopped singing it, Bryant started.  Now of course he didn't actually say the words, but he did the tune using his own words.  It was ADORABLE!!  Then when we got home we wanted him to do it for Josh, so we started singing it, and sure enough, once we stopped, he started singing it himself!!  I'll have to catch it on video sometime soon!  Anway, below are some more pictures of the cutie!  We were playing in the backyard over at our friends' Justin & Lauren's house.  It was fun!!
