Bryant's 1st Haircut!

Well, I took Bryant to get his hair cut today.  Why in the world I felt so sad about it I don't know.  I guess it's one of those motherhood things.  Anyway, I thought his hair was cute the way it was, but Josh had really been wanting me to get the back cut.  And after all the "business up front, party in the back" comments my loving family gave me at the beach, I decided to give in.  So, with much hesitation, I took him to the Pelham Barber Shop.  The ladies there were fabulous!  It was a great experience, and I have some good photos and a certificate to remember it by.  Below are some before, during, and after photos!

BEFORE:

DURING:

He wasn't so sure about it when we first put him in the chair
But he got better…although the water felt weird :)
Luckily they had some kid's books…that worked pretty well for distraction

AFTER:

 Look at my big boy!
 So grown :)

And most importantly…his certificate ;)

Thank you Ms. Dawn!!

So, besides getting his hair cut, there are a couple of other "firsts" Bryant has had this week.  Let's see…Tuesday he had his first popsicle!  It was delicious, and homemade of course. :)  It was pureed peaches, blueberries, and a tiny bit of honey!  He really liked it, plus I think it helped his sore gums.  Which let me add, one of his molars (he is getting all four of them) popped through the skin yesterday!  So YAY, maybe the worst part (which for him is usually the movement below the gums) is close to over!  Anyway, like I said, he really liked the popsicle.

 "What's this…?"
 "Hmm…it tastes pretty good."
"Yep, I like it!" :)

The other "first" was that Bryant went to storytime at the Library yesterday.  It was a lot of fun.  They sang a couple of songs, read a couple of books, and made a craft.  Bryant seemed to really enjoy it, so I am going to try to take him every Wednesday.

 Running around the room
This was the board they used for the stories
Bryant's craft.  Didn't he do a great job! ;)  But seriously, a few of the scribbles are his…but then he just wanted to eat the crayons.

Well, that's all that is new with us right now.  I'll write again soon!

Until next time…

Heather
