18 Months Old!!

Can you believe that Bryant is 18 months old!  I sure can't.  My baby boy is getting bigger every day it seems.   Today he had his 18 month checkup at the pediatrician, and the stats prove my previous statement!  Weight: 26 lbs 6 oz  , Height: 33 1/4 inches , Head Circumference: 18 3/4 inches.  This placed him in the 60th percentile for weight, 80th percentile for height, and 50th percentile for head circumference.  The checkup went great.  The doctor said he was a healthy boy!  He also said he was up to speed on everything, maybe even a little ahead in speech.  Go Bryant, Go Bryant, Go Go Go Bryant! ;)  Also, he was a true champ today.  They had to take blood, and pricked his foot to do it.  Well, he did not cry at all.  Not even a whimper.  Instead he just stared at the nurse like, "What are you doing?"  AND…he did not have to get any shots this time.  So YAY!!!

Besides going to the doctor, we have gotten to hang out with different friends this week.  It has been fun!  However, the most fun was had this past weekend.  We took Bryant and Sam to the new dog park in Alabaster.  It is SOOO nice!  A lady from the Birmingham Humane Society won some contest with Beneful.  She won a $500,000 dog park that she could put anywhere.  Well, lucky us, she chose to have it put at Veterans Park in Alabaster.  Anyway, it has turf ground, which is great, and obstacle stuff and a splash pad.  It was so funny though because the dogs were just walking around the splash pad, and the kids were playing in it.  Bryant had a blast!  Unfortunately, I did not prepare well because I had no extra diaper, no extra clothes, and no towel!  Oh well, some of the best times happen when you are unprepared. :)  Below are some pictures.

He was soaking wet and having a blast!!
My puppy got worn out!

I have one more picture to share…

Hehehe…  I'm allowed to mess with him since he's my kid. ;)

Until next time…

Heather
