Happy Easter!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter!  Ours was good, but busier than usual.  Actually, of course, the whole past week has been busier than usual. We have been moved in to our new house for a week now, and it is slowly starting to look like a home.  I have to admit, I'm pretty impressed with how much has already been done…especially with being about 8 months pregnant.  However, I will probably wait until my next post to share pictures.  This post I want to share tons of cute pictures of my little man.  Bryant stayed in Opelika last Saturday-Tuesday while we officially moved.  What an AMAZING help that was!  While there, he participated in my parents church Preschool Easter Event.  He got to get Easter eggs, pet a goat, and even ride a pony!  According to my parents he had a great time!  Below are some pictures they took.

 Hunting eggs
Riding a pony for the first time!
 With his Pops
 Petting a goat
Counting all of his eggs.  Each one had a meaning and scripture inside.  Love it!

Then this past Saturday, Josh and I took him to an event they have here in Alabaster.  A helicopter drops eggs onto the football field, and the kids go "hunt" them.  I think Bryant had a good time, however we will probably never do it again.  Too many people, too crazy.  Bryant only got one egg, but thankfully a little girl gave him two more, so he ended up with three.  But it was just too much.  Next year I think I will hide eggs in our back yard and let him hunt for them!  Anyway, below are some pictures from that event.

Ready to go to the Egg Drop!

On Easter we went to church and then did things around the house the rest of the day.  The Easter Bunny did come to see Bryant, but it was not very impressive.  Just plain eggs filled with stickers, bubbles, and raisins!  He loved it though, and he is very obsessed with his eggs and stickers…it's funny!  However, I've made sure to talk to him about what Easter is really about…Jesus's Resurrection!  I definitely do not want that to ever be overshadowed.  Thank you Jesus for saving us!!!

Yummy!  Getting to eat raisins for breakfast!
Had to include this one…  He wanted to make sure we didn't forget him while packing! :)
Also…how precious is he…his first night in his "big boy" bed!

Until next time…

Heather
