This past weekend Josh had a bachelor party for a friend of his. He was gone from Thursday morning until Sunday night. So I decided to pack up the kiddos and puppy dog and head to my parent's house. This was Taylor's first trip, and I have to admit she didn't do the best. Apparently she gets tired of being in her car seat pretty fast…even though the trip was only 2 hours. Oh well, we made it there and back, even if there was a lot of screaming and crying involved. While there we had LOTS of fun! We went swimming a couple of days, we played at the Splash Pad at Sportsplex, we went to the park every day, and Bryant even got to ride the train at the park! And of course, Pops wore Bryant out by playing with him constantly when he was home. It was so nice to have help with the kids. Jojo got up with Bryant every morning so that I could sleep in with Taylor. And they both played with Bryant and held Taylor a lot. It was a good trip, but I think we were all excited to see daddy/Josh and be back in our own beds last night! Below are some pictures from our fun 4-day weekend in Opelika.
