4th of July Weekend!

We had a great 4th of July weekend.  Josh was off on Thursday AND Friday!  On Thursday we went down to Lake Martin to spend the day with our friends Brandon and Emily (Luke and Ella).  Although it rained a lot, we did have some dry time to swim and take the boat out.  Bryant also got to fish…which he enjoyed until he actually caught one.  It was hilarious the way he squirmed trying to hide behind Josh because he was so scared of the tiny fish on the hook!  Proud moment for Josh I'm sure. ;)  Anyway, it was a really fun way to spend the 4th!  On Friday it wasn't raining in the morning, so Josh took Bryant to play 9 holes of golf.  That of course made my little boy's day!!  All he ever wants to do is go to the golf course!  They had a great time.  Then Friday night me and the kids meet up with my friend Sara, who was in town from Nashville, and Courtney and Rebecca for dinner.  We all had our kids, and it was fun!  Definitely different than girl's nights use to be…but still super fun! :)  On Saturday it was STILL raining!!  So we decided we would do a fun, indoor activity and go to the McWane Center.  This was the first time Josh actually got to go with us, and we all enjoyed it.  The only bad part was it was extremely crowded!  Oh well, Bryant still had fun.  Afterwards we went to lunch at the Fish Market. Yum!  That night we got together with friends and grilled out.  The kids had a blast playing and the adults had fun hanging out!  As you can see it was a busy, fun-filled 4th of July weekend for the Lee clan! :)  Below are some pictures.

Beautiful view even in the rain!
