Halloween, Football Games, Thanksgiving Feasts & more!

Well…this is going to be a pretty long post.  I can't believe it's been 3 1/2 weeks since I've written.  I think that's the longest I've ever gone.  Life's just been busy I guess.  Or my sleep deprivation has made me forgetful.  It could be either one. ;)  Anyway, let's not waste any time since I already have tons to write about.  So let's see…  The last week of October was fun.  The Thursday before Halloween both kids had parties at school.  They wore their costumes and had a little party.  Then my mom and dad came up for the weekend while Josh was gone for the Florida game.  We had a potluck dinner and get together with our neighborhood before going out trick or treating.  It was yummy and fun.  Then for the first time ever the kids actually went trick or treating.  My mom stayed at the house with Thomas, and my dad went with me.  The kids loved it!!  Obviously…who doesn't like getting tons of candy. ;)  Then Sunday night we had a little trick or treating for all the kids at our weekly Family Night Dinner at Josh's work.  We have lots of young kids on our staff, so it was fun to see all of them in their costumes.  The next week we didn't do much of anything.  It rained all week and was quite depressing.  That next weekend was the Georgia vs. Kentucky game.  Josh's cousin Mollie and her husband and little boy Griffin came for the weekend.  It was so good to see them, and the kids had a blast playing together!  Griffin is a few months younger than Taylor.  I can't believe I didn't take any pictures of the kids while they were here…but I forgot!  We all went to the game on Saturday, including Jama who was also here, although they lucked out and got to sit in a Sky Suite!  It was a fun game.  I took all of the kiddos and they did so good!  The next week was a much better week because the rain finally stopped.  We played outside a lot.  That Monday Josh's dad, Poppy, came to see us because he had been working in Atlanta.  It also happened to be his birthday, so we got to celebrate with cupcakes and party hats! :)  It was fun.  Then that Thursday the kids had a Thanksgiving Feast at school.  Each class sang a few songs they had learned, and then we had a huge lunch in the gym.  And what made it even better was that Josh got to come!  Yay!  Then the kids and I headed to Opelika for the weekend.  We visited with my parents, and Bryant and I went to the Georgia vs. Auburn game.  It was lots of fun!  Especially since we won!  We came home on Sunday and this past week has just been a regular week.  We've played with friends some, had golf, enjoyed the outdoors, and gone to preschool.  The norm! I guess that about covers everything…and it actually wasn't too too long. ;)  Enjoy all of the pictures!

After the game we went and saw Luke at his tailgate! They had fun!! (Emily was home with a sick Ella. :( )
 Seriously…he is SO big!
Looking pretty proud of himself. ;)
If I can't find him, and I'm doing laundry, this is usually where he has crawled off to.
Poor Thomas.  No doubt he's gonna be tough.
They love watching the houses being built.
Leaves are fun.  Period.

Until next time…

Heather
