Sam's Fam: Summer Vacations!!

We have had lots of fun since my last post. Josh had the last week of June and first week of July off, so we got to take two weeks worth of vacations. The first week we went to Lake Martin, and the second week we went to Naples, FL. Both trips were so much fun! Our good friends the Hartleys went with us to the lake. We basically spent the week swimming and cruising. And every night once the kids were in bed the adults had a blast hanging out! It was absolutely perfect. The first weekend we were there we actually stayed that Friday night with my friend Natalie. That was so much fun. And it was fun getting to hang with Sadie, her almost one year old. That Saturday we got to see our best friends from Birmingham, the Moores. It was so awesome to spend some time with them and their little boy Charlie. And we also got to see Josh's good friend Thomas while there. We love our annual Lake Martin vacation because we get to see so many great friends! After our week there we made the long trek down to Naples, FL. We were meeting our good friends the Williams there for a week. And the first part of the week the Greenes met us there too. Which I had missed Meghan and her kiddos tons, so that was great!! We spent the week on the beach and in the pool, and we went to a 4th of July parade, as well as to an awesome water park one day. It was lots of fun. The last day we were there Josh's sister Meghan and her two kids drove over to see us. We had not seen them in forever, so that was special. The cousins had so much fun playing together. All in all we had two extremely wonderful vacations. We have been back now for a week and a half, and Josh has been working and I've just been doing stuff with the kiddos. One fun thing was last week our friends The Pippins came over from Birmingham to feed the football team. We got the chance to hang out some too, so that was fun!
