First Night Away!!

We have finally recuperated from our trip to Bainbridge and our Anniversary...and now we are going to be getting ready to go to the lake for the 4th of July!  I am really loving all of these travels, and the time with Josh, but I will also be glad once we are actually home for a while.  Anyway, I wanted to post about mine and Josh's 2nd anniversary.  It was on Monday, and we had so much fun!!  First we hung out at my parents house and swam with Bryant and Jojo.  I took lots of pictures but for some reason they all turned out fuzzy like below...I think I got water on the lens.

Then we left Bryant with Jojo and Pops and went to dinner.  It was delicious!  After dinner we checked into the Grand National Marriott in Opelika and stayed the night....BABY FREE!!  Yes, it was the first night for me to be away from Bryant.  I have to admit...I had mixed feelings.  It was so much fun just to spend time with Josh without having to take care of Bryant, but I sure did miss him.  In total I was actually only away from him for 16 hours (6:00 pm -10:00 am), but it seemed like longer!  However, he was absolutely amazing for Jojo and Pops, and they had a great time!  I'm including a couple of pictures and a video of him while he was there!

 

All in all Josh and I had an amazing 2 year anniversary!!

My Great-PeePaw's 80th Birthday...and 20 Weeks Old!!

Above is the picture of me from today.  As you can see, I am super big!  Also...it is getting harder to take a picture of me with my teddy bear because every time mommy puts us next to each other I like to grab him and eat him!  Hehe...it's funny to see how many times mommy will take the teddy bear and straighten him before getting a decent picture of us! :)

Anyway, boy do I have lots to tell about my weekend.  I went to Bainbridge, GA for the very first time!!  It was my daddy's Peepaw's 80th birthday and they had a big surprise party for him.  I got to meet all sorts of family on my daddy's side that I had never met before.  They of course all loved me.  I got passed around A LOT, but I was really sweet about it.  I also got to see my Jama, Aunt Meghan, Uncle Jon, and Rachel again.  It was so much fun!  Mommy took tons of pictures while we were there so I am going to include them.  I will try to notate who's who in each picture.  Enjoy!! :)

As you can see, I wasn't lying when I said I met LOTS of people.  It was fun getting to see daddy's hometown...the place he calls Heaven on Earth! :)  Hopefully I will get to go back soon!

What am I up to?!

Hey Guys!  I was just going to write and tell everyone what I'm up to on a daily basis.  For one, I really like playing with my toys now.  I find them much more interesting than I did even a few weeks ago.  I really like this musical toy I have.  In fact, I am already trying to play the trumpet!

I also really like to play in my new exersaucer.  It is super fun!  Mommy got it for free from a former coworker, so she really likes it too! :)

I also like to read books.  It's hard for me to sit still though, so I can only read a little at a time.  I actually can read by myself! What...you don't believe me...just see the picture below!

I also still love my bouncy seat and playmat.  And, I still love to talk all the time.  I also like to laugh, although mommy says that right now it sounds more like a cackle.  Oh, and one more thing, I have just started to do something that is super fun...Blowing Bubbles!!  It makes a funny noise and everything! :)  I'm gonna include a video below that mommy filmed that shows me doing all of these favorite things...talking, cackling, and blowing bubbles! :)

Happy Father's Day...AND 19 Weeks Old!!

Happy Father's Day to my AWESOME dad and my WONDERFUL husband.  I really do have the best dad in the whole world!  I was so blessed to have such a Godly, gracious, patient, giving, generous father growing up.  And I am still so lucky to have him as an amazing dad and pops now that I am grown and have a child of my own.  I seriously cannot say enough good things about David Bazemore. To say I was a daddy's girl growing up would be an understatement.  I looked up to my dad so much.  I learned so much from him, and am the woman I am today because of his guidance and love.  Thank you dad!!  Also, I need to give a shout out to my husband too.  Although he has only been a father for 4 1/2 months, he has been an amazing father so far.  Bryant is so lucky that he has a dad who loves him so much and is dedicated to providing for him and raising him in a Godly, safe, fun, and loving home.  Bryant, I hope you grow up to know how lucky you are!! :)

I went to my parents house for a few days the latter part of this week.  They had kept Sampson for us while we were at the beach, so I had to go pick him up.  While I was there we enjoyed my parents newly renovated pool.  I am going to include some pictures of me, Bryant, and my dad swimming in the pool!  It was so fun!

Rolling Over!

Hey guys!  I wanted to share a new trick I have learned with everyone...rolling from my back to my front.  I have been able to roll from my stomach onto my back for a while now, but I just learned how to roll from my back to my stomach a couple of days ago.  Now that I know how to do it, I am doing it A LOT!!  It is super fun!  I mean, mommy will lay me down on my back, turn her head, and boom I'm on my stomach!  The only bad thing is now mommy won't swaddle me at night.  She did it Thursday night (which was the day I learned my trick) and I managed to roll over in my swaddle. (*see picture below)

So she unswaddled me, and that was that.  She doesn't want me to roll over and get trapped where I can't breathe good and I don't have my arms free to move.  I understand, but I sure do miss my swaddle.  I just don't sleep as good without it.  However, I'm sure I will get better!  Anyway, below is a video of me rolling over just to prove how awesome I have gotten! :)  Enjoy!

Bye Bye Beach!

Well today was our last day at the beach...we packed up and left this morning. :(  I am sad for a couple of reasons. First, I doubt we will be back to the beach again this summer, so it will be next year before we see the gorgeous ocean again!  And secondly, this is probably the last time we will ever be at Topsl in Sandestin.  Josh's parents sold their condo, so this was our last time at it. :(  However, we had a wonderful week!  Bryant was amazing, and really enjoyed himself.  He seemed to once again really like the ocean and sand...although he didn't stay in it too long since he couldn't sit in his float.

He also really loved the pool.  He loved it when we would swim him around in the pool.  And he also enjoyed just sitting in his float and chilling.  In fact, yesterday he actually fell asleep while in his float in the pool.  He must have been really tired...

Josh and I really love the beach, so it is only natural that Bryant would love it too! :)  We were so lucky to have beautiful weather the entire time!  I got some more great pics of Bryant while we were there so I have included some below.

18 Weeks Old!

Hey Everybody, I wanted to share the picture of me from today.  I am 18 weeks old!  As you can see, I am getting bigger and bigger.  But hey, what do you expect, I am over 4 months old now!  As mommy told yall a few days ago, we are at the beach!  Therefore I don't have time to write much because I have to go play in the ocean and pool.  I am having soooo much fun!!!  Talk to yall soon!
