4 Month Pediatrician Visit
Today we went to the pediatrician for Bryant's 4 month checkup. It went really well. He weighed 14 lbs 12 oz (which put him in the 65th percentile) and was 25 1/2 inches long (which put him in the 95th percentile). So although his weight gain has slowed down, he is still very healthy!! He also got his second round of vaccinations today. I of course made Josh help hold down his hands while the nurse gave him the shots. Bryant let out a couple of cries and that was it. He is such a brave boy! ;) All in all it was a pretty good visit. I talked to the doctor about when to introduce solids, as I know some people who start between 4-6 months, and he told me not to give him anything until 6 months. So we are going to talk about introducing solids at his 6 month appointment and I will just keep solely breastfeeding until then! I've included a couple more pictures below. I'm not sure if I have mentioned this yet or not, but Bryant has started to try and put EVERYTHING in his mouth. He is such a mess. You can see below that nothing is off limits...if his mouth can reach it then he will probably chew on it! :)
Until next time...
Heather
