Bryant's Dedication...Birthday Spent at the Zoo...12 Month Pediatrician Visit

As you can tell by the title, this post has LOTS of information, and of course pictures!!  As you know, we had Bryant's birthday party on Saturday.  Well, the next day we had him dedicated at our church, Church of the Highlands!  It was great because our parents were already in town, so they got to celebrate with us.  It was a great time of fellowship and dedication.  Bryant also got a small bible with his name on it.  And of course, we gave him to the Lord and dedicated ourselves to raising him in a Godly way.  It was a challenge to us, as well as a public announcement that Bryant is God's child.  Below are some pictures from the dedication.

Of course Monday, February 6th was Bryant's actual birthday.  All of our guests had left and it was just the three of us again!  So, Josh and I took Bryant to the Birmingham Zoo for his birthday!  It was a lot of fun, and the weather was perfect!!  Although he didn't really notice the smaller animals much, he loved the bigger ones.  He even started talking to the giraffes!  It was soo cute!  Below are lots of pictures from his fun first zoo trip!!

 Haha!!

And the last newsworthy thing that happened this week is Bryant had his 12 month check up today!  Unfortunately it ended up being a 12 month checkup and a sick visit.  Poor little man has had a congested cough, runny nose, and fever for the past several days.  Well, I figured he would get better, but he hasn't.  So today we took him for his 12 month checkup and found out that he also has a double ear infection. :(  Poor thing!  No wonder he has been so fussy and icky feeling/acting.  We got him some medicine and hopefully he will be feeling a lot better in the next couple of days.  As for the 12 month checkup visit, he was great!!  He weighed 20 lbs 8.5 oz and was 31 inches tall.  That placed him in the 20th percentile for weight and the 80th percentile for height.  That's exactly what he was in at 9 months.  The doctor said it was great, that we just had a tall lean boy!!  All in all it was a great visit!

Waiting to see the doc!

Below are a couple more pictures that I liked! :)

Even though he's sick, he is still working out!! ;)
 Precious time together!

Well, that's all the updates for now!  I'll write again soon!
