Bryant's First Word!

We have had a fun several days. On Tuesday, Bryant had a photo shoot with our friend Rob. He is a photographer - Rob Ingram Photography. I know the pictures are going to be great! I can't wait to see them…hopefully some time next week. Then on Wednesday, Bryant and I went to the park. It was such a coincidence because we ran in to an old coworker of mine who has a little boy one day younger than Bryant. She is still working, but was off yesterday. It was great to talk and catch up with her and hear how all of my former coworkers are doing. And it was cute watching the boys interact. Then today, Josh and I took Bryant to Old Town Helena. We ate at The Depot and then let Bryant walk around the area. We got some really cute pictures.

As you can see, it was a fun family outing! So…as the title of the post gives away, Bryant is saying his first word. It is……"SHOE"! That's right! It is so cute. And he knows what his shoes are and where they are. I can tell him to go get his shoes and he will go find them and bring them to me. Well..actually not 'them' but 'it'. We are still working on him bringing us both shoes instead of just one. :) But when I ask him to go get it, as he picks it up, he'll say "shoe". So smart! Below is a video of him doing it.

He will also do the same thing with his pacifiers. He can't say paci, but I can ask him where his paci is and he will go get it. I have a video of this too.

I know what you're thinking…so precious. :) And it is! Anyway, today Bryant has also started saying "cheese". We aren't sure he knows what cheese is, but we will say "do you like cheese" or "do you want cheese", and he'll go 'cheese'. I can't wait until the day that he actually says MAMA!!
