Wow, I had not planned to go almost three weeks without posting, but it has just been a busy month so far! Let's see if I can condense everything down enough for people to actually read it all. ;) The first week of March was filled with the kids starting school and t-ball practices. They both absolutely love school, and Bryant loves t-ball. He actually gets upset when practices are cancelled due to weather. Josh also took Bryant to the golf course for the first time and he got to hit some range balls. Of course Bryant was sooo happy!!! I went to my first MOPS meeting on that Wednesday. It was really good! I can't wait to have the opportunity to get to know some of the other moms better. That weekend Jama came into town to stay the next week with me. The reason was 1. Of course she wanted to meet Thomas and see the other kids, but 2. Josh was out of town all week in the Dominican Republic with the other coaches and their wives. It was Spring Break at UGA, and they go on a trip each year. I unfortunately missed out due to having a newborn. :( I'll be ready for next year though! ;) Before Josh left he took Bryant and Jama to a baseball game and they also visited the stadium and other facilities. I think Bryant thought it was awesome! Anyway, while Josh was on his trip he had a great time and was able to relax and I stayed busy busy. Thanks to Jama being here I was able to get a ton of errands done, and things such as getting a new drivers license, etc. It was so helpful! And of course she was a big help with the kids…actually more so than Josh is. I should of just kept her around instead of Josh! ;) jk Love you Josh. :) While Josh was gone Taylor had what I think was a cold and decided to share it with Thomas. And unfortunately by this past Saturday Thomas was pretty sick and congested. He was having to labor to breath and ended up with almost a 101 fever…which is too high for a baby his age. So at the doctor's orders I took him to the ER on Saturday night. We ended up being there until Monday. :( They ran all sorts of tests, did a chest xray, and even ended up doing a spinal tap (which is the worst thing in the world by the way) all to have everything come back negative. So they kept us for a couple of days and ended up doing some antibiotics to be safe and we had some breathing treatments to try to help him with that. And of course they came in monitoring him every 30 minutes it seemed! When we followed up with the doctor on Wednesday he was doing really good. My unprofessional diagnosis is that he had a cold, that because of his age, affected him worse than an older child…hence the hospital admittance. The only other noteworthy thing from this past week was that Wednesday night we had a Baby Shower for one of the coaches wives' and I actually got to go! (Of course I had to take Thomas with me, but still!) I had met a handful of the other wives, but this was my chance to really meet pretty much all of them. It was lots of fun and they all seemed super sweet!! Whew, I guess that's all for now. I've said it before, and I'll say it again, I will try not to go as long before my next post. :) Enjoy the pics!
