All about Thomas!!

Hello there blog readers.  Let me start this post by saying, if you mainly look forward to the pictures in my posts, you will be highly disappointed with this post.  It only has a handful.  All taken at the same time.  However, if you also enjoy the exceptional, witty writing, hehe, then you will enjoy this post! ;)  I realized that with Bryant almost every post contained what he was doing and milestones he was hitting.  And once Taylor was born I still tried to keep everyone up to date on her new happenings.  But then the third child was born.  Sweet, precious Thomas.  And I am not sure I have ever taken the time to really just write about him.  So here goes!  Thomas is the sweetest little thing ever.  I know people say third babies have to be laid back, but seriously, he is soooo laid back.  Thank the Lord!  Just this morning we were running all over the place and I realized I had never nursed him… Like I woke him up, threw him in the car, and didn't realize until 2 hours later that I had forgotten to feed him.  He had not cried about it once.  Side note, please focus on the Thomas side of that story and not my bad parenting. ;)  He turned 6 months old yesterday, which is crazy!  Time seems to fly faster with each child.  As I am writing this he is blowing razzies at me.  It is his new favorite thing to do.  He does it all the time…and is quite proud of himself.  He also loves putting his feet in his mouth…which is super cute.  He still has no teeth, although I swear about a week or two ago he was teething.  Oh well, they will surface eventually.  Just like with the other two I waited to introduce solids until about 6 months.  So he did get his first taste of some homemade carrots the other day.  Since then I have fed him carrots one more time, and I plan to try out avocados in the next few days.  Although he is not sitting up on his own all the time, he is starting to be able to do it better and better.  He has been rolling from his tummy to back for a few months, and finally mastered rolling from back to tummy about three weeks ago.  He also tries all the time to push himself up using his arms when he's on his tummy, but has had no luck getting on his knees yet.  He is by far my chunkiest baby at this age, so it may take him a while to crawl.  My other two crawled right at 7 months…I'd be shocked if Thomas does.  He is an absolute horrible sleeper.  Like worse than Bryant and Taylor…which I thought was impossible.  His long stretch is like 3 hours.  It's ridiculous.  However, I just put him in bed with me and we snuggle and nurse and sleep some.  Since I know he's my last baby, I really don't mind most of the time.  Every now and then the lack of sleep hits me and I become crazy, but it's not an every day occurrence. ;)  And I am just not good at crying it out.  I tried that with Taylor and it did not work.  And what I've learned from the other two is that Thomas will eventually sleep through the night, and I will miss him.  Silly I know, but just a crazy mama thing!  And I will give him credit in that he is an amazing napper.  So at least I get that! :)  He is very much in love with his mommy.  Although he gives laughs and smiles to pretty much anyone, I like to think I get the best ones. ;)  And he loves to snuggle with me, which I love.  And one last thing I have to note is that Bryant and Taylor absolutely adore Thomas.  So even though he doesn't get left alone very often, and he doesn't get as much of my undivided attention as the other two did at his age, he is one blessed little baby to have so much love!!! :)  That's it for now…enjoy the few pictures. :)
