Christmas with Jojo & Pops and other Christmas Activities!

This past weekend was so much fun!  My mom and dad (Jojo and Pops) came up and we celebrated Christmas with them.  This is the first year we aren't going down there at Christmastime as a family, so they came to us!  The first day they were here we played, had dinner, and then opened Christmas presents.  Then the next day we cut out and decorated sugar cookies, went to the playground, cooked and ate a huge, delicious Christmas dinner, and then went and looked at Christmas lights.  We had such a good time with them and were so thankful they took the time to come see us. :)  I have lots of pictures, but before I get to those let me backtrack to what's been going on the past several weeks since I last posted.  A few weeks ago we had some friends over and actually made sugar cookies and ate pizza.  It was lots of fun until I rushed out at the end to get Thomas to urgent care before they closed.  He'd been a little sick, but had declined quickly.  Turned out he had a yucky case of RSV. :(  Thus began a very long week of steroids, antibiotics (for his ears which were both badly infected), breathing treatments, and sleepless nights.  And it didn't help that Josh was pretty much MIA. :(  But I'm glad to report he is 100 percent better now!  On the weekend that we were dealing with RSV, we got super lucky (please note sarcasm) and Bryant was sent home with his class "pet", Patch.  When Patch comes home with you you're suppose to do fun things with him and document them in this book.  Well…obviously we had nothing fun going on since Josh was working all weekend and Thomas had RSV.  But, I made the best of it and I think Patch ended up getting to do some pretty fun things…as the pictures below will show. :)  This past week Bryant had his Christmas Program at preschool.  It was cute.  Then the next day both kiddos had their Christmas parties at school.  It was lots of fun for both of them!  I think that pretty much covers everything.  Below are lots and lots of pictures. :)

Making sugar cookies with friends.  My kids were the main ones who loved this part.
