Opelika Visit and VBS!

The past week and a half has been lots of fun!  Last week Bryant had Vacation Bible School all week.  He had so much fun!  At the end of the week they had a program where they sang some of the songs they had learned.  It was super cute.  He did this same VBS last summer, and it really is great!  However he did miss one day of it because the kids and I went down to Opelika just for Wednesday afternoon and Thursday.  My sister Grace and her family were down from Connecticut.  So obviously we had to go seem them when we had the chance.  Although it was short, we had such a good time.  The kids got to play with each other, and I got lots of great time with not only Grace, but Jonathan and my parents too!  This week Bryant has been doing a sports camp every morning with his buddy Coleman.  They have had a blast!  Also this week our friends from Birmingham, the Pippins, came over to feed the football team.  They own a BBQ company, and are huge Georgia fans, so last year and this year Josh has been able to set it up for them to come over and feed the team.  We got to have dinner and hang out on Tuesday night.  It was lots of fun, and so good to see them!  Well...that's about it.  Below are pictures. :)

 Pops and Thomas swinging!
 This girl loves to climb.
Throwing rocks in the creek with Uncle Jonathan.
Our attempt to get a picture matching the picture we took last summer was a big fail!
 My babes!
COUSINS!!
Enjoying some ice cream...and Aunt Grace was showing Bryant how to photobomb a picture! ;)
 Loving her ice-cream.
 Time for a little stroll.
Nora and Taylor having fun!
On Thursday we went back to the park to find some buried treasure.  Bryant found an old treasure map at Jojo & Pops that lead to a treasure we buried when we were kids.  So Aunt Grace told him.  Jojo even burned the edges of the paper to make it look old.  Bryant's response when he found the map...why is it all torn up? Ha!  Anyway, it was super creative of Grace and Bryant had so much fun following the map!
 Where to next...
 He was on a mission!
He found it!  Filled with coins!
One more attempt at a good cousins picture.  One last fail. ;)
Bryant walking in at his VBS program.
 Singing and doing the motions!
I just love this sweet boy.
 Bubble blowing.
 Bubbles really are so fun!

Until next time...

Heather
