Lake & Beach Vacations with Friends & Family!!!

The past two weeks or so have been the absolute best!!  Josh was off for two weeks straight!  So we spent one week at the lake and one week at the beach!  We went to the lake the week before July 4th. We went to Lake Martin in Alabama.  We got to spend time with several of our Birmingham friends that we've missed tons!  We got down there on a Friday.  We got to spend most of the weekend with Josh's best friend Thomas.  Then our friends the Moores came down Monday morning and stayed through Friday.  It was so good hanging out with them!  And our friends the Broaches came down on Wednesday and were staying after we left on Friday.  We all just putted around on the boat, swam, went to Willow Point to swim and stuff, and Josh played golf two different mornings.  Bryant actually got to play with him one of the times.  And of course the kids had a blast seeing their friends.  It really was an awesome week.  We left the lake Friday afternoon, and then headed down to the beach the next day for the week of the 4th.  We stayed at a house in Destin with my family!  All but my sister Grace and her family where there.  So my parents, Shelley and her fam, and  Hillary and her fam.  It was lots of people, but luckily it was a huge house!  We had so much fun just hanging out and going to the pool and the beach.  And the cousins had an absolute blast getting to play together.  And of course I always love any time I get with my sisters. :)  It was a great trip too!  We ended up leaving the beach on Thursday, because our friends the Hartleys were coming to visit for a few days.  We have missed them so much since they moved to Miami in January, so it was great to see them.  They stayed with us Thursday-Saturday.  We went to the pool and just hung out, and even got a babysitter for the six kiddos so us adults could go out on Friday!  It was a great visit.  So, as you can see, we really have had an awesome couple of weeks.  I hated to see it all come to an end.  But luckily I took lots of pictures! :)
