Man I'm one lucky mother!
Happy Mother's Day to all of you mothers out there! I hope each of you is having a wonderful day! I have to give a special shout out to the best mother and mother-in-law I know. Yall are both amazing and I am SO lucky to have you in my life. Bryant is also extremely lucky to have yall as his Jojo and Jama! Love yall! We have had a great Mother's Day at our house. We went to church and then have just hung out. I keep trying to convince Josh that I should get to lay around all day while he takes care of Bryant, but he said that he already got me a present. Which technically he did, but I want both!! :) So this year I got one present from Josh and one from Bryant, and I love them both! Josh got me a gift certificate to a salon to have a haircut and style. And I'm not going to read into it and think that he doesn't like my hair.. ;) But seriously, I am excited about it. And then Bryant got me something I have been wanting for a while….new bedding!! It is beautiful! We went shopping for it yesterday as a family. I absolutely LOVE it and am so excited. The bad part, Josh told me I spent so much on it that it was going to count as my anniversary present too, but we'll just have to see about that. ;) Anyway, all in all we have had a great day so far and I love my beautiful, thoughtful gifts! Otherwise we haven't had too much going on. Bryant has been kind of fussy the past several days. He ended up at the doctor on Friday where the doctor confirmed something I already knew, Bryant has yet another ear infection. So he is on a new antibiotic for that. On top of that though he has been teething something terrible. He just got his 4th incisor on the bottom. Even though he hasn't been really fussy with his teething in the past, he has been this time. And come to find out, I noticed today why. Poor kid has what I can only assume is his first molar coming in. His gums are so swollen and red. It looks terrible. And then of course the ear infection is probably causing a little of the fussiness too. Anyway, I just have to remind myself that 'this too shall pass'! Below are a couple of pictures of the cutie pie. Even when he's sick he is still so precious. :)
He loves just carrying around his beach sand toys. He takes them out of the closet every chance he gets and plays with them!
