I want to start this blog post by giving thanks and praise to one person, my Lord! He has been SO faithful through this entire journey. Although I have not always been the best at trusting what he was doing, it has always been in His control. As many of you know, this job search journey started back at the end of November. The football coach at UAB was fired, and thus Josh was let go too. For the next 3 1/2 months Josh waited patiently and went after different coaching jobs. In March he was officially not chosen for a job he had interviewed for and really wanted. However, it was all in God's plan. Then a week later he was offered the exact same position at a different school. The bad thing about that job was I would definitely have had to go back to work, and we would of course have been moving. Well, after much thought and prayer, Josh turned the job down. Now that's faith…turning down a job when you have no other job offer in sight. From then on our journey started to change. Josh felt that the right thing for our family was for him to get out of the football coaching arena. He decided he wanted our family to be more stable and grounded, and above all else, he wanted me to be able to stay home with our children. Let me stop here and just say how LUCKY and THANKFUL I am to have such a wonderful husband!!! THANK YOU JOSH! So, starting in mid-March Josh actively started to look for jobs outside of football. He went from perhaps wanting to have his own insurance business to wanting to get into commercial banking. He worked SO hard to find a job, and to figure out what he could be happy doing. That lands us at the past week. He was verbally offered TWO jobs on the same day. He thought about both of them, and chose the one he thought he would be happiest at. He then met with the President of that company yesterday and was "officially" offered the job, and "officially" took it. He starts on Monday! The new job is with Berney Office Solutions. He will be selling copiers and other business solutions. We are all extremely excited. I think Josh is going to do an amazing job at this job, and I know for a fact he will work his butt off to be successful. Your continued prayers as we start this new adventure would be greatly appreciated. As for me, I get to continue to stay home and raise my precious little boy. It's the best job on earth! :) Speaking of Bryant, I do have some super cute pictures of him to share. A few are just from around the house, but the others are of him playing in his new activity pool Josh got him. He thinks it is super fun. Although he has only played in it once so far, I know we will be using it a lot this summer. It's going to be weird not having Josh/daddy around to play with us anymore. It will actually probably be a hard adjustment, but I just need to be thankful for all the extra time we did get to have with him during his job search. Anyway, I know this was a long post, but I wanted to share everything. Below are some fun pictures of Bryant!
LOVES his new play pool!

Until next time…
