Our sweet baby girl was born this past Wednesday - May 1, 2013. We got to bring precious Taylor home from the hospital today. I am already so in love with my daughter it's crazy. And yet I still love my little boy so much…my heart grew overnight! :) Taylor had a pretty uneventful entrance into the world until right at the end. Unfortunately her left shoulder was stuck in my pubic bone due to her size. That has caused her to not have good movement in it, but we are just praying it will work itself out. We go to the pediatrician on Monday to evaluate it and talk about next steps. Please pray that she will get more movement in it quickly. Also, due to her getting stuck with her head already almost out, when she first came out she was not breathing. This was terrifying. The NICU worked on her for over 5 minutes, and when we finally got to hear her first cry after waiting over 5 minutes, Josh and I were extremely relieved. I of course started crying. So grateful that she was okay. If you are wondering why her shoulder was stuck, maybe these stats will explain: Taylor was 10 lbs 7 oz and 22 inches!! CRAZY!!!! Apparently I have big babies! And I thought Bryant was big at 8 lbs 10 oz! His sister outdid him by almost 2 pounds!! Anyway, we are having fun watching her big brother Bryant talk to her and count her fingers, etc. and we are having fun with her too! Below are some sweet pictures of our newest addition and our new family of four!
