Pediatrician's Visit…not the best. :(

Today I took Taylor to see her pediatrician.  Due to her left shoulder injury experienced during birth, the NICU had requested us to take her to our pediatrician today.  Well, they X-rayed her shoulder, and the good news is that nothing is broken.  However, he didn't like the lack of movement he saw so he is sending us to a specialist.  However, that is being placed on hold due to something else we ran in to today.  Although Taylor was fine when we left the hospital, today she looked really jaundice.  The doctor checked her bilirubin level, and it was 21! (It should be 10 or lower)  So now Taylor is having to do photolight therapy. :(  I HATE it!  She has to stay on this light 24/7 except when being fed.  Please pray that she only has to do this for a couple of days…or if we are praying then pray for only one day!!!  It breaks a momma's heart.

My precious baby on her light therapy.

On a happier note, precious Bryant is LOVING his new baby sister.  It is absolutely adorable.  He talks about her all the time and gives her kisses about every second. :)  And any time she makes even a whimper he runs over to her and asks "Baby Taylor what's wrong?" in a very concerned tone.  It makes my heart melt.  He also really likes to hold her.  In fact, last night he about threw a temper tantrum when Josh and I tried to take Taylor from him.  I guess he is already her protector. :)  Anyway, below are some pictures from our first several days at home!  Poppi came to visit for the weekend, and we have had several other visitors come to meet Taylor too.  It's been fun!

 Love her face here!

Her first bath at home…not too bad.
Oh wait…maybe it's not that great.
 Ahhh…it's over!

 Ready for her doctor's appointment.
Bryant told her all about the pediatrician so she would be prepared. :)

Until next time…
