Taylor's 2-3 Week Pediatrician Check Up!

Taylor had her pediatrician check up today.  It went AWESOME!!  First off, she had finally gained some weight, and was past her birth weight at 10 lbs 8 oz!  Also, her jaundice is completely gone and she looked great!  Everything he checked was perfect!  AND he was extremely impressed with her left shoulder.  He made the comment, "This is not the same baby I saw last time".  After evaluating her he told me he expected us to see a 100% recovery!  How great is that!  God is SO good!!  The doctor still wants us to see a physical therapist so they can evaluate her, but he was very positive about everything.  I was so happy!

Ready for the doctor!  The BIG bow/flower is from my friend Emily, and I only have her wearing it for her and my friend Kristin.  So they better appreciate. ;)  I'm not a big bow person…although my sweet Taylor looks precious in anything! :)
Waiting to see the doctor…so patient.
Look at her showing off by lifting up her left arm/shoulder!!!

Other happenings since my last post.  Let's see, Bryant's last day of playschool was this past Thursday. He talks about his friends and Mrs. Karen a lot, so I know he is going to miss them so much.  I hope to get together with some of them for play dates over the summer.  Below is a picture of the cutie on his last day!

Precious little boy ready for his last day!
Can't forget Mrs. Karen's present!

Our weekend was low key for the most part, but we did have a few special visitors on Sunday, one being POPS! My dad came up to spend the afternoon with us.  He was going to bring my grandmother with him so she could meet Taylor, but she had a cold and couldn't come. :(  I was glad that he still came though, and Bryant definitely had a blast!  It is so nice to have my parents close enough where they can make day trips like that!  Also, my good friend Sara was in town and came by to meet sweet Taylor.  She is also a Physical Therapist, so she was able to look at Taylor's shoulder for us too.  She also was very positive about her recovery.  YAY!  I didn't take any pictures while either of them were here, but I do have several other pictures from the past several days to share!  Enjoy!

He is such a silly big brother!
I think they favor each other :)
He told me, "I don't want to say cheese."
But I was able to get this.
 Smiling in her sleep.
 Brother loves his sister.
They were checking each other out. :)
My beautiful sweetheart!

Until next time…

Heather
